Hi everyone,

I tried to change my website logo through Customizing→Site Branding→Logo.
But as the following screenshot shown, even though I saved a new logo, the site still displays the old one.

The currently active theme is “Astrid Child” and cleaning Cache didn’t help as well.

I have a problem when changing / wanting to change the font size in the “Astrid” theme in the “Header text” and “Header small text” sections. After entering my text in both sections, I go to the font adjustment view -> “H3 font size” / “H4 font size” I change from the standard size to, in the order “36” and “46” save the sketch and go to the preview page and surprise … The font size has not changed, it has been saved but didn’t affect on page. When I go back to the settings, my values are saved but only after trying to change the font size, it adjusts to the value again, but again after saving the sketch, the saved value is not applied in preview, why? Of course, I also changed the font size constants in the “style.css” file, but this change does not affect the font size on page also, please help !? Any hint?

I didn’t paste the link to the site because I got so confused with the changes that I did, so I get rid of the whole theme and wrote here for help (:

On website we would like to change header photo to bright (white) background. The theme was created as Child theme. I can’t find where to change menu color. Now the menu text is white.
In settings where customizing Color there is no menu color just:
Background Color
Primary color
Site title
Site description
Menu background
Body text
Footer background

I am wondering if it might be possible to create portfolio pages with the Astrid theme and if so, how? The current theme I am using on my website (https://beehive-pr.com.au/artists/) is Trail – and I don’t want to lose this function.

Apologies if this has been answered already, but I was also hoping to learn how to change the font colour of the body text, once the background colour of the website has been changed? I’ve seen another support topic that shows how to change the background colour, but when I do, I can’t change the text to white.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I downloaded the demo content as I would like to add a few options to the home page. But cant import (You must upload a .wie file generated by this plugin (help).) I did however use the Importer Exporter you recommended in your video and used the text import option.

This worked fine, but wordpress is no throwing up errors regarding the imported eliments? Im unable to use them and they are showing as errors

I’m creating a website with the Astrid theme from aThemes that contains a dropdown menu item. It works perfectly fine on mobile and pc, but not on Tablet (landscape mode).

When I want to click the dropdown menu, it sends me to the parent page immediately, except I want to see the dropdown menu items it has!

Could somebody help me?

Trying to work out how to have the menu stay highlighted to show the user the page that they are on. The site I am working on is primarily used by seniors, so a visual queue for the page that they are on would be useful.

Any way of making the Logo located on the footer bar bigger, it seems very small and compaired with the header image its much smaller?

Hi there. Whenever I try to add a logo to my site it appears really small and I can’t seem to adjust the size – it seems like the theme is restricting the dimensions. Is there any way of adjusting this?

Also, when I do use a logo it removes the title and tagline, even when the ‘Display Site Title and Tagline’ box is ticked. Again, am I missing something?

Getting messages from Google Search console that many of our blogs are not mobile friendly which we can see using https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly

We believe the issue is due to the Googlebot is rendering these pages differently from the way they actually appear on a mobile phone. There’s no apparent issue in a mobile browser.

Google is rendering a large translucent box at the top of the mobile pages which includes the meta title and description.

On the pages that are passing the mobile-friendliness test, this box seems to be dynamically scaling, with the text inside it “wrapping” to appear on multiple lines

On the pages where the test is failing, this text doesn’t wrap and is displayed as one long line which extends outside the mobile screen.

Any ideas?

We used your Facts widget. It seems the background color of that section changes to a dark and I haven’t been able to figure out how to control it with additional css (I was able to change color but not background color). We’d like it to be the same white (or off white) as the rest of the main page.

From the beginning of creating this website the fold-out function of the menu does not seem to work (the fold out menu will appear when you make the screen smaller or open the website on mobile).

Hi, I have a little problem with my WooCommerce shoppage. I’ve created a shoppage which is showing correctly in Preview. But after linking this page as shoppage in Woocommerce-Settings-Products my product catalogue is showing twice on my website. I can “solve” this by removing the All Products block in the shoppage, but then it is not showing like it should. Different buttons for example. Also no extra products code shown in Code Editor. Because an empty shoppage does show the products is seems that this is hardcoded somewhere, but I can’t find out where.

The link to the page is showing the problem with 2 product catalogues. First catalogue is showing like it should, second block needs to be removed.

Can someone assist please?

there’s a big gap between the book and the button. I’ve added the button via a Gutenberg HTML field and just put the html with the proper css in there. Now I can’t figure out how to reduce the space between the two so that the button looks like it’s right underneath the picture. Can you help?

Is it possible to completely remove Google fonts from the Astrid theme?

I removed the reference to Google fonts at Appearance | Customize | Fonts, but I’m still seeing the fonts on the website.

There’s an odd thing that’s happening, I am writing to you cause I read that the way the excerpt gets handled may be different according to the theme used.
I run the latest WP install and the latest Astrid theme. When I try to post my wp blog posts to social media (via a zapier or pabbly connect integration) the excerpt field remains EMPTY! But if I put a manual excerpt in the manual excerpt field, it gets populated.
Any idea how to fix this quickly?

Down at the very bottom of the Astrid theme (I’m using AstridChild), where it says “Powered by” on the right and has a menu on the left, I’d like to remove the “powered by” statement and make the menu on the left 100% wide and centered.

I’ve fooled around with style.css and footer.php for the child theme, and I’ve looked through the parent theme, but my understanding of CSS is very limited.

I tried adding style=”colspan:2;” in a few places, but it didn’t work.

How can I do this?

doesn’t seem to work to download the layout.

On my homepage I have the three “services” showing. Goats, Firewood, Worm Wee.
The photo should link to the respective pages and so should the <More> text.

Is it possible to get rid of the <More> text altogether and only have the photo and page title as links?

The three arrows icon for the drop-down menu on the mobile site is white by default but I’d like to change that to a different color. I’ve tried many different CSS code snippets in Customizer but so far nothing has worked. Can anyone here help me find a way to change the color?
