Hi,

Oddly enough, just one page is acting funny on my website (Attitude theme): my Home page. I basically updated recently the website and opted for this new 5.9 version and blocks, but my text does not display on full width of the Home page. Funny enough, it displays on the full width on the other pages.
It displays on full width on Mobile page version but not on desktop page version.
Any clue?

Hello,

I hope this theme still gets support. I have an issue I can’t fix with Cumulative Layout Shift for the desktop version of the site. It seems the theme loads in mobile format first and after that it resize in desktop format.

I get great results for mobile 99 but i can’t pass Core Web Vitals on desktop. All I get from PageSpeed Insights is that the main issue is caused by this <div id="main" class="container clearfix">

A greyed Responsive Menu appear in upper right near of my Linkedin link in Desktop Mode. The Responsive Menu does not work for Tablet and Phone mode.

For your information I switched to Attitude and it work fine! The Responsive Menu appear and work for Tablet and for Phone.

How can I change the copyright info in the footer of the Attitude theme? I was going to edit the footer.php file but do not see a way to do it.

How can I hide the header (the logo and the search form) on the main page only so the first thing on the main page is the navigation menu then the featured slider. I would the header (the logo and the search form) to appear on all other pages of the website.

I wrote the main content in the size called “absatz”. I tried to change it in stylesheet css above the sizes h1-h6, but it didn’t work.

I am using the Attitude theme and I wanted to know how to remove the “Theme by: Theme Horse | Powered by: WordPress”, but keep my copyright information.

I’ve read a lot of forums on the matter and most people have suggested created a child theme, editing the css in that, and that will solve the problem. However, is there any other way to do it specific to this theme? If not, could I get a better explanation on how to create this child theme.

It seems easy enough; however, I do not know where to find the “Theme Directory” etc.

Wondering if there is a way to hide the top menu, while using a custom widget to set a left side bar navigation? I’ve got too many menu options to run cleanly across the top, so want to use the side option instead.

I was so excited to find this theme for a client’s web site. Just getting started and see that the home page slider has to be linked to posts that have a featured image set. I just want to use the slider for images, we won’t have posts or pages for the images we want to use.

Is that not possible? We just want to use the slider as a slideshow.

I’ve never been able to figure out how to get my top three elements on the same line at the top – they currently take up too much vertical space. These include my logo, the search icon, and my login/register buttons. How can I get these all on the same line at the very top?

Also, I’ve tried uploading login and register buttons to use as pictures with links to the login and register page, but the images won’t show up. Does anyone know why that might happen?

When using the Attitude template, I can’t add a menu. It allows me to set up location, and make it the “main menu” but as soon as I start adding the pages to the menu, it won’t let me save.

Any help would be great.

Im using this template on https://www.brise-akupunktur.dk, but there appear to be a delay on the frontpage, which creates almost a full blank page under the slider before the text appears. After approximately 5 seconds, everything starts to look normal, but this delay is crusial for new visitors.

Is there anyone who knows how to fix this?

My side bar that is set to show in the right side bar is somehow showing at the bottom of the main context. It was appearing at the right hand side initially when I created the website a couple of months ago. So it must have been some update I did might have caused this to switch place? The site is at https://nitasharma.com/, where you can see the blog feed coming below the main contexts.

I am trying to understand what decides the visibility for page-title and entry-title. To me it seems completely arbitrary. I am creating a static page and some of the new pages I add have the page title only, some the entry title only and some have both. How do I specify what is shown?

Hi All, I am very new to this so any help is really appreciated.
Firstly, my front page says read more on it but I have never added that and would like to remove it. Any ideas? Also, I can’t add a picture the size I want to my front page. I click preview and it looks great but on the actual site it looks very different.
Last thing…..my header shows up on all my posts. I don’t really mind this but think it may be a pain having to scroll down each time.

I am using a child theme based on the latest version of Attitude.

Needing more menus, I followed the WP codex to create some new ones. At first I had the problem described here:

which as you can see I resolved in the CSS file, but now I find that my new menu (under header, above content) does not show nicely on mobile devices, with the horizontal lines that indicate the Navigation. How do I fix this?
