In the theme file wp-content/themes/attorney/style.css, the two references in lines 16 and 17:

needed to be updated to be:
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Vollkorn
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:900

When I did this, my security plugin keeps informing me that the theme file dose not match that which is stored in WordPress by stating the following warning:
“This file belongs to theme “Attorney” version “2.0” and has been modified from the original distribution. It is common for site owners to modify their theme files, so if you have modified this file yourself you can safely ignore this warning.”

Every time I log into the WordPress dashboard, I am forced to “Mark As Fixed”.

Can you please update this file to include the SSL certificate on Google’s fonts?

Can I remove the semi transparent block designated for text/caption on the main slider on the home page by some additional CSS?

Changed the logo but when I clicked on the Published button, it would not post it on the website. Why?

Had to restore the site as it was as it is a client’s site.

I am using the attorney theme and I currently have 7 items in my menu.

The last item is now appearing on the second line below the other menu items.

How can I narrow the space between the menu items?

My website is built responsively using the attorney theme. When I click on the Blog menu item for the recent blog posts page, the content displays perfectly in Firefox and Chrome on a Windows 10 laptop. However, when I try to display the same page on android or iphone, the section of the page that displays the blog intros is hidden. WHen I use F12 in Chrome to debug it in phone simulation, I can see the content is there but it is not being displayed on the phone. The website is https://www.totalhumanperformance.com.

I figure it must be a style sheet issue but cannot figure it out. Any ideas on what I should be looking for? Thank you for your help!

I want to set up a Site Icon but when I follow the instructions (go to Appearance->Customize and pick the Site Identity tab), there’s no Site Identity tab shown. (There is a Site Logo tab and a few others).

I’m using the “Attorney” theme, which I don’t think has been updated for a while (and no update is available). Is the Site Identity support dependent on something in the theme? Or to put it another way, do old themes fail to support some newer features?

I’ve made some changes in the Attorney theme which I don’t want to lose, so I don’t want to switch to another theme unless I know it’s necessary. But I will if I have to…

How to place a favicon in the theme?

I set up and really like this theme but can’t get the photo slider to display or the layout to appear correctly. I used the auto install in my cpanel to install it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it with the same result. I was also wondering if I need to change out the layout somehow and if so how to go about it. `https://www.createsolutions.com/wp/ I’m just learning word press but have some experience with other php and web development so if you give me some guidance, I will give it a try.

I’ve tried using three different plug-ins that let you insert tabs and tabbed content on pages, but with each one, the tabs work perfectly except that a round bullet (in whatever theme color I’ve chosen) appears to the left of each tab’s text label. If I turn off ul bullets for the whole site, the bullets on the tabs still remain. If I switch to a different theme the tab bullets disappear, so the bullets must be coming from something in the Attorney theme itself. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks.

1. Search not working:
I am using the “attorney” theme. I have added the search widget, but when I type something in the box, nothing is found. For example, the name “Stewart” is used a lot on the publications page, but none of them appear when I search the name. Any idea why it’s not searching?

2. Remove Powered by… in footer
I tried to manipulate the footer so that it doesn’t say “powered by…, but I am not sure I did it right, because it shows up on the home page, but not the following pages. What did I do wrong??

I’ve asked for some help on other forums regarding the fact that when I use the Google AdSense plugin in my Attorney theme sites, the ads that I place in the text (between second and third paragraphs of posts, as recommended [red balloon] by the plugin) cover the text in the third paragraph.

I’ve been told the plugin is having trouble integrating with attorney. Can anyone familiar with Attorney and AdSense help me?

How do I make the “sidebar widges” show up on the right-hand side of a page instead of at the bottom? I cannot figure out how to change this setting and the WPAttorney.org site has it set up like this on one of their pages but no explanation for how to do it.

I’m having some issues with the slider function on my page – every single post I make is showing up in the slider section, even though I’m not making them a sticky, and I’m not selecting the ‘slider’ category when making them.

I’ve tried everything I can think of, but no matter what I seem to change, they’re all still showing up.

Is there anything anybody can suggest to stop this from happening, and to only have posts that I want to show up, or is it a standard feature on this theme?

Using the Attorney’s theme, at the bottom of every post is “comments are closed”. Is there a way to get rid of this line without turning comments on ? Do not want to allow comments, just want the post to end.

The slider also displays non-sticky posts on the latest post slider.

I have a gelley page showcasing our staff
when you click on an image on the staff page another page shows an individual staff member with their bio. What I am looking is to delete the info at the the top of the page (DATE, SIZE, GALLEREY)

line, but I do not know how to delete it.

help – I am trying to update the slides in my slider and even though I deleted the old slides, they are still appearing?? I believe I did this wrong initially by putting the images directly on the page instead of creating a gallery, but not they will not disappear!

On my homepage, the slides are OK on computer version of the theme. But they are “too much on the right” on mobile version of the theme.

In fact, the left part of the picture is not hidden as in the computer version, but that’s the right part of the picture that is not appearing on the screen of the iPhone.

In my case, that means that the background that isn’t important on computer version is appearing on mobile version… and that the end of the text that is crucial and appearing on computer version is hidden on mobile version.

What is possible to do to let it appear?

I am trying to remove both the page titles and the space around the titles, so that I can lift images placed on “Full-width, no sidebar” to the very top – with no space between menu and first picture.
I have removed the title by writing
“.page .entry-title { display: none; }”
in Simple Custom CSS plugin and I am now trying to find the right CSS to remove the blank space as well.
