I found out the link color in the navbar is tied into the link color of the theme, I would like to change the link color on navbar and not everywhere else, is this possible.
I tried add this `.navbar a:link {
color: #dedede;
}` but didn’t change anything.

My site looks great on desktops and laptops. When viewing on mobile devices the title is huge. Everything else on mobile is fine. How do I resize the title to be the right size for mobile viewing? I’ve searched everywhere and tried adding some CSS, but nothing helps. Thanks!

thank you for this beautiful theme … but I have not found how to translate the navigation of posts in French. I created a child theme and searched in content-single, and not found … I found in template_tags.php, which is in the inc folder. I also found in index.php, I put all this on my child theme but it does not work. Is there another way? Thank you for helping me because I become goat.

I’m having huge problems to setup a child theme. Goal is to update the theme in the future and don’t lose the small modifications made.

By any chance do you have it ready?

First off, we absoluletly love the Barletta theme. We have been using it for a while now over on Traveling Appetites.

We are in the process of adding a sidebar and have two questions:

1. How can I remove the sidebar from the homepage?
2. How can I make the sidebar appear <i>after</i> the feature image on a blog post? Right now the sidebar takes up width that the feature image should be using.

If you can point me in the right direction in the PHP code I can probably take it from there.

I all of the sudden started having issues with my widgets for my sidebar. I can’t drag and drop anything to show up in the side bar. Specifically the About me section.
I’m also getting a message that there are two inactive widgets, which include the Barletta social widget and the Barletta About me widget. But I can’t move them anywhere.

This is the message I receive at the bottom of the widgets page:

I installed this theme and getting this error for my widgets area:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_settings() on a non-object in /home/content/95/9502395/html/wp-content/themes/barletta/functions.php on line 286

The slider works well with 1140 x 550 px image size.
The featured Image size is best set to 1000 px or clipping occurs.
However, the slider draws images from featured post images.
This creates a situation where:
the image either is clipped on the post page,
or too small to fill the space on the slider.
Is there any way to resolve this issue?

WHen I go into customize site identity for the Barletta theme, I can see where to upload the favicon (love this idea), but no place to upload a logo for the header. I keep thinking I am missing something obvious, but well, I give up. Help??

1. In every Topic is the Comment funktion to see. I deactivated it and nobody can comment. But the Words “Comments deactivated” is still to see there. How can i delete this complet? I will upload Pictures to show my Problem, look here:

Thank you for the Barletta theme. I really love it. I’m just having issues with the homepage slide. It auto-hover, I mean it auto-move before even if I don’t click it. Now, it doesn’t move anymore. I really need it to move by itself even without clicking on the arrows.

I have everything updated and I have WordPress Version 4.7.3. I have also tried deactivating each and every plugin that I have installed to make sure it’s not a plugin conflict. It’s still not working.

Please could you help me?

i use the barletta theme and i would like to insert a phone numer in the navbar… I can create a link in the menu, but with hover effects and so on… I try it with a different css-class, without the “#” – No Way…

So, i need the phone numer in the navbar without any effects.

How I can change the image of social media icons in the Barletta Social Widget?

I have just set up this theme on a site but all of my posts are showing in the slider whether or not they have the ‘Slider’ Category, even if they don’t have a featured image. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong please?

Just one thing, is it possible to make the page navigation instead the ‘older posts’ and ‘previous posts’ in whole WordPress but not only index.html?

I would like to make the header logo bigger than the current setting. Its on 400px now, but I would like to make it bigger. I couldn’t find any code in the settings where to adjust this.

When i make a main menu, with submenus, then the first main button to activate the submenu doesn’t work. When I delete the submenus, the main button works.

Is there a way to fix this ?
