How to display a ‘Featured Image’ only on the blog roll but NOT on top of the post

on the website which I’m trying to set:

in the project categoty, photos are zoomed. If you want to see the rest of the photo, you can only slide them downy with red bar on the right. What do I have to change or add to settings to see full photo without scroling?
I’m using Simple Image Size, Contact Form 7 and WP mail SMTP plugins.

Suddenly I lost all the pictures on the front / blog page of my site. If you click on the title, and go to the post page, the picture appears, but not on the main front page. Also it seems to work on mobile devices but not on the full website. I’m using a MacBook Air.

Also all the fonts changed to something else (looks like helvetica) and have become bigger. I have another Base WP theme site, which is still the same as before, so I know something is wrong with one site only.

What can I do? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I updated the theme and lost the header image. I have reloaded but it appears as zoomed in detail. I have reloaded (it is exact size as recomended) and reset but still appears as cropped close up.
I have seen the post about adding an image as a logo – however if I do that I loose the Name and title of the site. Any ideas?

I’d be happy using the logo option if I could retain the text as well.
I am using Chrome and Firefox

My header image is broken. It looks like as it’s a background image of the heading, the height is 0.
I’m using a child theme but deleting it didn’t help.
I tried to change it in the customize settings, but that didn’t work either.
It worked in version 2.0 but not anymore with 2.03.

Hi,
I am using a child theme.
I have managed to reduce the size of the site using the style.css and changing any max size 1190px to 860px. This works fine.
The navbar is fine, but when I add some extra content in the header.php the extra content is floating over to the 1190px point. I am using float:right. I have put the extra content below:
<header id=”masthead” class=”site-header” role=”banner”>
I also notice that the footer is full page width, this may need changing to the 860px width.
So the question is how do I set the header and footer width to 860px? Please note that the nav bar is showing at 860px.
Any help with the problem would be greatly appreciated.

I see there was a post made a year ago about this, but I do not think that solution applies. I have replaced every occurance of @media screen and (min-width: 769px) or any other width in media, in the style.css with min-width 1199px. The navbar now manages to break at 768 but no higher.
Can you please put me in the right direction to do this. In actual fact I only want the menu to break at 1024.

The header image on my site won’t load. I tried to change it in the customize settings, but that didn’t work, either. It all changed once I updated from 1.42 to 1.43.

When i update my theme (base wp) all the pages and the menu bar dissapears, but i can still see the header picture?
Also the admin panel is greyed out.

I am using the free theme of BaseWP, I can only change colors of the menu (also the drop down menu) in the code using a child theme. If I purchase the theme, is it possible to change the colors of the menu and the drop down menu? And is the payment for one time only or annual?

However I’ve noticed that lists do not render in the content page (a single post). They work on the front page but not when you open up a single post.

I’ve tried searching for a solution, and most topics about lists not showing correctly relate to some CSS stuff, but this error in Base-WP shows up even with no CSS script loaded.
Element Inspector in Chrome shows the entire post encased in p tags, but for example thirteenfourteen shows the ol and ul tags as they are entered in the post.

Using the lastest version of wordpress and just confrimed this same issue on latest version of Base-WP.

Since I updated Base WP I can no longer remove and replace the footer text referring to WordPress and Lografica.

Since I update Base WP, I can no longer remove the page title by checking off “Remove Page Title” on the home page. How do I fix this?

I recently installed the Base-WP theme. But I came to the conclusion a couple days later that it’s messing up my library. I switched back to other themes and noticed it was working with those so it’s gotta be a theme issue.

It doesn’t load any of my library content, neither does it let me upload new content. Has anyone had this problem too, and what resolved it?

Since I updated to 1.31 I am no longer able to see images mounted with short code ore the regular way inside a post.
When I am in the blog roll I am able to see the images but when I click on the post-title and enter the post by itself there is no longer any images there.
I tried updating the core-framework folder of the child theme, without any results.
Please can anyone help me I really need my site to be working.?

I don’t know exactly what happened. Today I just opened my website tradechile.cl and it was zoomed in without any evident reason. Also the header image looks shrunken and the main menu is repeated on top of the header. I can even zoom out manually (Ctrl -) and the website looks fine (except for the header image and main menu), but in 100% it looks like the browser is zoomed in. Also seems that the changes I’ve made in a child theme (the colors of the menus) were reverted… or the child theme is just not working.

Until Friday everything was working fine but today… this. I also tried deactivating the plugins but is still the same. Something strange is that if I see the live preview of the theme in the Themes section in the dashboard, the website looks fine (except for the menu, and the header image size).

Any ideas?

Hello and thank you for your work on this theme. I have a problem: When I’m on my homepage, everything is normal. But when I navigate between the other pages, the menu increases the font characters. This becomes bigger.

Hi! I’m wondering how I can make the menu collapse at a greater width than it currently does — I’d be looking to make it collapse around 850 or 900px. Can anyone help me with this? My site is stage2.mediaboxdesign.com.

My child theme no longer works after updating from ver 1.24 to 1.29 (yep, I got a little behind in my updates).

With the new version update, I’m left with just a white screen when I try to load.

Is there anything in the new update that could be causing my child theme to no longer work? Or is it because I’m missing the previous updates?

I want to change web logo but theme options cannot be saved.

There is a faint dark thin line at the base of the header. I am using the Max Mega Menu which does not extend to the full width of the page and so that line looks like an error. Can it be removed?

I removed the sidebar from all my pages by selecting “Page No Sidebar”. For some reason this did not work on my woocommerce Shop page. So I added the CSS code:

and the sidebar vanished. But now the products are off to the left. Can they be centered?
