CSS is not enough. Adding a WP page isn’t doing it. How do I get complete control over the homepage?

I’m currently using this wonderful theme and have had great time up until now.
Since the past two days a lot of our subscribers have complained that they can not access the search option in the website.
I tried to remove and add that widget again but it is not working. Please help.

I’m helping someone with an existing site that is making use of the BAYLEAF theme.

How can I eliminate ‘category titles’ from attaching to the ‘Feature Image’ on the HOME page?

On the post page it helps if I ‘uncheck’ the categories, but the way it was setup it seems the category identified as “FRONT Page” has to be checked in order for the Feature Image to show up in the HOME Page, but it also places in the ‘featured image’ box text that says “Front Page”. I’d like to have a ‘featured image’ without any added text. Is this possible, and how can this be managed?

In the latest from blog widget you have a few options to display the posts. In my opinion there’s one missing: I would like to show an excerpt. ??

Is there a way to do this or are you planning on an extra option in the widget?

I have just installed the Bayleaf wordpress theme. I see in the demo, there’s a an author section with author image and description at the bottom of blog posts. However, on my website, I do not see this author section appearing. Could you advise if I am missing out any settings? How do I have the author section displayed at the bottom of the post, just as in the Bayleaf demo on https://vedathemes.com/bayleaf-pro/healthy-delicious-fruit-cream-for-dessert/?

I would like to change the theme’s background to add something more “welcoming” than pure white. I thought about a light wood texture, but I’m having trouble.

I looked for a premium version, maybe more customizable and didn’t find it. Can anybody help me?

I have notions of CSS and I’ve changed some details like size and color of the titles, with some guidance, I can go further!

How do I select/upload images to display on the sliders or grids of the Bayleaf Display posts widget for ‘pages’?

Is it also possible to set the order in which the display items (in this case ‘pages’ whether grid or slide view) are displayed?

Hi, hope I can get some assistance, please.

I’d like the images displayed on the posts listing for a category to be square rather than rectangles.

I.e. square image and then the link box underneath at the original size.
Is this possible? can I just add a CSS string in the theme customisation area?

As usual, whenever I post in any forum for support, the act of posting helps me figure out the problem, I just needed to add the CSS

First of all, thank you for this amazing light-weight theme. It works like charm!
However, I just have this issue which I could not solve.

When I add “Display Post” widget to the sidebar and choose one of the 3 different grid view display style, CSS acts like the sidebar has 3 column inside as if it’s like related posts widget and it couse such a view: https://imgur.com/a/15aVszy (By the way, it works great on mobile)

What I want to do this, I’d like to add some posts to sidebar in grid style vertically. Maybe this’d give you an idea: https://imgur.com/gallery/FkNBrkT

Since this is a build-in widget, I think it should be fixed for the sake of the theme.
I’ll also search for an easy solution (probably by editing grid view 2 or 3 style to act like it’s just 1 column) and will post the solution if I can find.

I feel i am stuck once again. This time on the featured image size. When i click to the post the featured image embedded on the page looks huge. Is there a way to resize it?
Also, is there a way to not have the featured image visible on the page if i don’t want to have the featured image on the main article or blog post?

In Turkish, The arrangment of the words/phrases is different from English. I tried to translate your themes to Turkish to use properly(almost %98, The rest is tgm strings, I don’t know tgm). These strings are difficult to translate. Can i request that can you change these string

I think most of wordpress users prefer social media icons to be on top. There are lots’s of option. Somebody prefers sub-header, somebody icons on main navigation… Can you add feature social media icons at main nevigation. It’s good place to show adresses directly to reader

After I updated theme from version 1.4.5 to 1.4.7. I lost many changes which I did in my child theme.
1. Site default width got changes (Now it is 40rem wide)
2. Title and meta information is appearing 2 times in a blog post.
3. Footer menu disappeared.

The main concern is why I am getting site title 2 times? Is there any filter/hook which allow me to remove header inside div having class page-entry-header-main-title ?

I have a quick question about “You may also like” settings in the end of posts. Because the “you may also like” is too small to read and the space between is too wide, I also want to have it both in English and Vietnamese so I don’t know if I can do some settings or not? I tried to find in widget and customize tools but I cannot find it. May you help me for this?

Another question, because my website have 2 versions (English and Vietnamese) but everytime I switch the language of certain post, it turns back to homepage with the language that I switched. There’s any way that the website remain in same article with language switched?

I’m using your theme for my website and I really like it. However I have a small problem with default latest posts in Homepage (that you can find them in the end of the website). I also checked in widgets tab to make sure that there’s no widget may cause this problem. Can you help to check and give me some advice to solve it?
