Probé actualizando los temas propios de WP incluido el último 22-22, y otros temas supuestamente gratis de proveedores externos a WP. Mi decisión era y es construir un sitio web con solo recursos gratis obtenidos en Internet, utilizando www.ads-software.com hospedado. Buscando encontré el tema BENTO como gratuito, y en verdad es GRATUITO, y no acosa con vaya a PREMIUM. Me ha gustado, y actualmente he adelantado bastante la construcción de mi sitio web tescuchamos.com.co. Para mí, ha sido hasta el momento la mejor opción de un tema gratuito para mis propósitos. It is a very nice theme, but there seems to be no support. I tried to contact the developer and wanted to buy the extension pack, no response. And no update since September 2020. If I update my page from PHP 7 to 8, there are several design issues and I have to downgrade again. No idea what to do.

Generally the theme is good – meets my needs and is flexible. However support for the theme seems poor with few responses on the support forum. I and others have registered an issue with the deprecated jQuery.fn.load() in the latest WP updates, with no response or fix from Satori. Numerous questions on the support page are unanswered

I have been using Bento in almost all my wordpress projects for the last couple of years and it seems to always “do the job”. I have been using it as a base with my own child theme on top or as is with a few customiizations. I have also found the Expansion Pack useful in some of the cases where the client wants to show off their own work.
Before I start a new wordpress project I review the market for elegant, responsive, easy to use (free) themes and have not so far found anyone matching Bento.

I am so happy I found this free theme. I’ve used dozens of free and paid themes in the past, but this one is the best one I’ve used so far. It is easy to customize to your liking. Of course, if you need major customizations, you are going to have to implement some manual codes in the backend. But with their forum support it is no trouble at all.

This is the best free theme by far. And if you add the very fairly-priced Expansion Pack, Bento becomes a full multipurpose premium theme. Well maintained, well documented, well coded and well desiged, second to none!

if i need to start a website, i always look if i can manage to create it with bento as it is a super easy start and has everything inside already. for customers very easy to learn. then they can manage it for themselves. with a little bit of custom css you can create just anything with this theme. i love it.

Very nice style and layout. Clean and simple.
Plenty of settings in customize section, not limiting and require to pay for extra setting, but still include detail settings.
Also ,the theme color is customizable and easy to configure.

A perfect 0…ZERO. Don’t even think about the Expansion Pack. I puchased mine last week and am still waiting. It is impossible to contact them and have this corrected. I would have given them a “10” but if I was the one that pulled this stunt I would be in deep trouble.

The support is excellent. I always hear back within a business day or two.
This is a good theme for someone who is knowledgeable in coding with PHP. I did appreciate that the theme was a blank slate I could do anything with, and that the theme did not keep trying to upsell the premium version.
But I had to go running to the theme owner more times than I’d like, because of the theme not being compatible with a few plugins. And I didn’t love that I had to put !important next to much of my css code, because the default css doesn’t want to be overwritten.
That being said the support is great, Andrii is lovely to work with.
