Forgive this newbie question. How exactly do I make a portfolio site with the latest version of www.ads-software.com and the Blask theme? That looks like the Blask theme image with a grid of images for the projects as the main page? I did this years ago but with an older WP version and plugins and there a lot of problems with that site. I don’t remember how I did it all, but now I should just rebuild it. Is there a way to do this now without plugins? I can’t find anything about www.ads-software.com and portfolio except for certain plugins.

Within the blask theme, then on the SHOP page, there’s a blank space on the right hand side of, like a blank column. I would prefer to delete this white space, so there is more space for my content. Is there a code for removing the right side white space / column on the shop page?

Is there a way I can change the portfolio page template in mobile view?
I love the masonry grid layout it gives on the desktop homepage but on tablet and mobile the images are stacked one on top of the other. Can any settings be changed or any code be inserted so that I get a similar masonry grid view layout with smaller thumbnails?

Hi and congratulations for this beautiful theme that I have installed on my website!

There are three points I need help with:

1. Is it possible to remove the “–” character in menus? If yes, how?
2. I activated the social menu but I don’t understand why the wrong icons appear and I can’t figure out how to modify them with the correct links.
3. I noticed that the theme is built in such a way as to have this “column” on the right which however penalizes the size of the central content. Is it possible to remove it by extending the central part of the site?

I’ve been trying to find a way to display only “project types” in the portfolio view instead of all the projects. All the plugins I’ve tried make me create a separate portfolio page. Is there a code or a plugin that can make these changes to work with the blask theme portfolio view? Thank you for all the help you are providing.

I have installed o sticky top bar menu. Unfortunately in the mobile view, the top of the logo is being cut of by the permanent menu bar. Can it be lowered down? Also there is a lot of white space between the elements. The social menu and the first portfolio project as well as in between the social menu and the site identity and the logo. I can play around with the variables but I don’t have the skill to create the custom CSS for it. Thank you

I’ve been trying to show only a certain type of projects on the homepage of the Blask theme. I have it all setup as I’d like, I just need to be able to select the projects appearing in the homepage. My idea is to assign those projects a specific type and filter out those for the home page.
I managed to figure it out how to do it with the usage of the shortcode ‘portfolio’ and the option ‘include_type’, but I could not match the exact looks that I need. Since I’m no html or php programmer, I have no idea what arguments and where to use them in the Portfolio template page in order to achieve what I want.

I’ve been using the Blask theme for a long time and recently there has been a glitch where it removed the logo from the site name area and is just displaying the name in a generic font. When I went to re upload it there is no option to add a logo, only to add a thumbnail logo. I checked all the categories in customize. Ordinarily it would be under Customize > site identity, but theres no option. Is there a way to fix this?

due to GDPR restrictions, I want to disable google fonts. Only with Autoptimize plugin it is not working. I found a function in parent theme called function blask_fonts_url. And the last line is

	}

How can I remove this function or overwrite in child theme? I have hosted the related google fonts local.
I want to cut the connection to google.

I would like to remove the grey space with site title but keep the tag line. I know that I can hide it by unchecking display header text. Unfortunately this also hides the tag line. I would like to keep the tag line text.
Also is it possible to start sentences from new line as shown below?

I installed Blask theme on my website and configured a main menu and a social menu.

On mobile and tablet the both menus are visible but not on the pc version.

Do I need to activate anything to make them visible on pc version?

Hi everyone, I am trying to add a white background to some paragraph blocks on a post in the editor (Block > Colour > Background Colour).

This seems to automatically create a margin on all four sides of the block of text. This makes the text look too compacted for my liking. (NB. The paragraph block itself isn’t changing width.)

Is there a way to make the text extend to the edges of a paragraph block that has a background colour?

I have been pulling my hairs out trying to fix the logo issue. On laptop its fine but on mobile the logo is sitting on the left, I have seen other sites using Blask and they are in the middle on mobile but for the life of my I cannot find a fix for this.

Logo is uploaded onto customise area so Im not sure what could mess it up.

Hi, I recently had my site migrated from wordpress.com to self-hosted WordPress. The typefaces/fonts I had chosen changed in the process and I’d like to change them back. On WordPress.com I could go to Appearance > Customize > Fonts but on the new site there is no option to change fonts here. The tab is just gone.

I had a problem with the portfolio not displaying but this was easily solved by turning on Portfolios in Jetpack’s Custom Content Types. I wondered if there might be a similar quick fix to the fonts going missing before I investigate font plugins.

Although it previously worked fine, at some point when I was not paying attention, my portfolio page started showing projects in a single column of large photos instead of in a grid.

I’m currently trying to figure out how to resolve an error in which the images in my gallery are butting up against each other, rather than remaining equally spaced. This error seems restricted to desktop viewing. The spacing is fine on the mobile version of my site.

I am trying to move my navigation menu to the right hand side of my site, and keep my site identity and social menu on the left.

If there any way to do this?
I’ve been trying all day looking through the theme editor and changing bits to see if I can change the alignment or position, trying different plugins and finding and trying answers from google but nothing seems to work.
The only thing I’ve managed is to align the writing to the right…

Anyone have any ideas?
