My blog page is missing its title. I have the Hide Title box unchecked. Can someone help?

Does this theme have a breadcrumbs feature? I can’t find it, but I also can’t figure out how to enable breadcrumbs in general.

The navigation button on mobile is just a single line. I’d like to change this to an actual hamburger icon.

I’ve tried enabling comments for each individual post, but for some reason the comment section isn’t appearing.

I’m having trouble with my logo being too small. I’ve tried adding different CSS code that I found in other forums and nothing is working. I took off the logo for now, and just have the site name and tagline showing. Would really appreciate any help in what I can do to increase my logo size! Thank you!

I recently switched to the Blog Way theme and really enjoy it but am having a few issues:

1) I find the text very tight within posts. Is it possible to increase the spacing between the header and the following paragraph (the spacing between paragraphs is great!).

2) My footer isn’t showing at all. I’ve tried adding widgets to that area and can customize it but nothing appears on my site.

3) If I show my feature image within the post, the first few words of the text appear on the right side of the picture.

Any help is appreciated!!

The first two images on this page, the first of which is the features image, used appear side by side (like the gallery below). It seems a theme update has recently changed this. Can I fix it?

The space between the header, logo and title is so long.
I found some css code in WordPress support, it only reduced the space between header and logo.

How to reduce the space between the logo and title of the content.

thank you for your work for the theme blog-way, i need to delete crop option for logo in header, i can’t locate this function to disable it, in my functions.php in child theme i modify

 /*
         * Enable support for custom logo.
         */
        add_theme_support('custom-logo', array(

so modifying width from 200 -> 400px but it's not resolutive.

I’d like to change the font size of my blog posts and pages, but not the sidebar, menu, or homepage. So far, I found this custom CSS to add in Customizing>Additional CSS:

.body {
    font-size: 16px;
}

However, this CSS increases the font size of the sidebar and home page. For now, I modified it to increase the font size of just blog posts, like this:

.post {
    font-size: 16px;
}

Can you tell me how to modify it further so the page font size is also increased, but not the homepage, sidebar, or menu? Thanks!

I’d like to move the blog post comment box to directly below my individual blog posts, rather than being placed after the Related Posts widget. How can I change the order of these two items? (I’m not a coder, but if code is needed, I do have a child theme set up–I’d just need very explicit instructions.)

Greetings!

Yesterday, I changed my blog theme to “Blog Way” and I am quite happy with the overall look and feel.
However, I have a query & a suggestion to give. Here are those:

1. Since, I only have my Social icons & the Copyright text in the footer, what particular CSS code can I apply to reduce its size?
It’s too broad right now and hence the reduction.

Also, let me know if I apply this above CSS, will I ever be able to bring the footer to this default size? If yes, please guide on the CSS code.

Suggestion: – Please allow Free “Blog Way” users the option to showcase social icons of their choice in the Header part. It will surely be helpful for a lot of folks.

I hope you will take the suggestion in a positive way.

How can I have featured video’s using Blog Way’s theme?

I recently switched to Blog Way’s WordPress theme from “Ajaira” by Rakib (version: 1.0.7) and noticed that all of our previously “featured videos” using “Featured Video Plus” plugin by by Alexander H?reth (version 2.3.3) are no longer being featured. Additionally, there is no reference on our published posts or on the blog roll of any videos that were selected to be “featured”.

For one of the post’s we need help with, we chose to manually re-embed the video into the single post in order for it to displayed when viewed. We desire to display featured video’s in our blog role, and thusly are willing to use another plugin or go with any other recommendation.

I have been trying to add a new logo to my website. Unfortunately it is only showing as very very small. I have been trying to scale the picture up, added different codes in the additional Css field but to no avail.
What is strange to me is that the title of the website in text has a perfect size. When I try to upload a logo, it′s very very small compared.

Would you happen to have a solution to this?

I just noticed that the pictures in my blog posts are having some scaling issues when I’m using Internet Explorer 11.
In other browsers the images are the same size as the content box but it seems like the IE displays the original image size.

Any tips will be appreciated!

I have three blogs on my site, https://www.katiesonger.com, and I’m using categories to separate them. (www.katiesonger.com/category/writing is one category, https://www.katiesonger.com/category/politics is another, etc.) On each of these three category blogs, I’d like the next/previous post buttons to point to the next/previous post in the SAME category, rather than to the next/previous post across ALL categories.

I’ve found many queries about this, and the answers all say that I need to work with the code “next_post_link” and “prev_post_link”, adding the argument “in_same_term” somewhere in the code. I’m new to coding, but I did create a child theme, and I’ve found the Loop code in index.php–Wordpress’s documentation seems to say that the code should be placed somewhere there (here’s their documentation). I’m still not sure, though, where to place the new code… Can you help me? Or is there some easier way to do this in Blog Way? Thanks very much!

I like your theme and am testing it prior to purchasing it. Unfortunately, the sidebar does not show up. The widgets are pushed down to the bottom. Sidebars appear on other themes. Could you please suggest a fix? I have not turned it on on my site currently since I’m not sure how long it would take for you to respond and I don’t want live traffic on my site when the widgets are not easily visible. I’ve tried with Chrome and Firefox on a Macbook pro.

I’m using Blog Way theme.

I’m using the milestone widget.

The text that says either ‘months’ or ‘days’ or ‘hours’ or ‘minutes’ isn’t visible.

When I highlight that section of the page, the text is there, but it’s in a white font and not the same font as the other text.

Is there somewhere I can edit this part of the widget/plugin? Also, the website is not live yet, not sure if that matters. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I had a RED alert that I should import demo data for my website. I kept seeing it and ignoring, but finally figured I should do it. I am about to explode. It has changed my entire website. How can I fix this?It has changed the colors of my blog. It has changed my menu completely. There are things on there that are not mine. My site is a complete mess. BTW I had to put a Down for Construction sign on it.

when I upload a header image, it appears much darker than it actually is. I have found various people who had the same problem – but on different themes. So none of the solution fit for the blog way theme. My site is [ redundant link removed ]

I’ve installed the Featured Image in RSS & Malichimp EMail plugin.
In the Mailchimp email from my RSS feed, two images display. Apparently this is because this theme uses a featured image but then featured image is in the blog post as well.

Is there any way to get around this so that there will only be one image showing in my RSS feed email? Or some way to delete the featured image as the first thing in the blog post?

The main menu in this theme is at the top & gets obscured by the WordPress Login bar once a user has logged in. The menu as a result is no longer clickable.

Is there an easy fix for this (besides disabling the login bar)?

I’m using the Blog Way theme for my website: https://amariesilver.com. The featured images that are displayed in the grid layout are being autocropped. I can’t seem to turn the autocropping off. I’d like to know what the ideal dimensions are for those images so I can format them before uploading them.
