Hello,
I am using a somewhat older but heavily edited version of blogolife (1.8). Recently, comments (which do exist in admin) do not appear any more on each post (even though it says, e.g. “3 comments”) and the space where they belong is nonexistent on a post. (They used to appear fine). I have checked that comments are allowed overall and in quick edit the commments are allowed for specific posts.
What can I do or what modification can I make to the code to re-allow comments even though a somewhat older version of the theme (blogolife 1.8)? (I engaged in so much work to modify the theme that updating would not be an option).
Here is an example where there are three comments, none of which appear (even though it says “3 comments” just above the blank new comment box.

Thanks for any help on what tweak might bring back the comments.

Unfortunately, I cannot remove (delete) the social media icons on the footer of my blogolife Website https://bonkredit24h.de: Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Facebook.
Although I have set with the Wplook Panel the Share Buttons on hide, they do not disappear on the theme.
Can anyone help me to remove the social media Icons?
Hello,
For whatever reason, the featured image on my new posts are no longer showing.
We have other posts that works but our recent post does not show up.
Is there a way to fix that?
Thanks,
Daniel
My site – every page – is opening extremely slow in IE. It is fine in other browsers. https://www.impactpediatrics.com
https://www.marketingwithintegrity.com/category/profit/ideal-clients/
That’s the page for categories, then niching/ideal clients. All of the information that shows up “UNDER” the problem is correct.
I expected the first post — to include the first sentence. That’s the sentence I used to describe the category. But everything after that… I’m lost on how it’s showing up.
I did a search through posts for some of the words that appear and it’s not there.
Where could it be? What could be the problem?
Someone answered: that’s the 4th paragraph under the page header. It has a class of “author-description”. If you’re not sure where that’s coming from you might ask over on the theme support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/blogolife
So I’m here asking.

I am currently using BlogoLife Pro version 1.1.4. I would like to update it to the latest version of yours – which is not the Pro. Will it add the newer version as just another theme, and I can switch back to the Pro if the new one fails, or do I need to be more careful than that? Let me know, and thanks!

I have BlogoLife version 3.0.6. How do I update to the latest version of this theme that has the responsive layout?

Hi
Couldn’t work out why certain pages and posts weren’t displaying the sidebar correctly in IE. They are fine in both Chrome and Firefox and Edge.
Then I discovered that any page or post that has one or more comments are the ones that don’t display correctly. The sidebar is pushed to the bottom of the page.
An example can be found here:

Other than this love the theme…
Any help would be appreciated
Hi Valeri,
The new update is causing major issues to my site. Is there any way I could get/use the older version? Please let me know asap, thanks.

Dear Valeriu Tihai,
after yesterday installed the new Blogolife update (3.0.1) I have a problem with the widges. The old, existing widges were as described, are automatically disabled. When activated again, it comes up to the third widges in the right Sidbare cause the widget expands to the full width of the page and the layout so destroyed. Is this an error in the update of the theme, or do I still change settings. Thank you very much for your effort.

Hi, take note that the theme BlogLife now has a major update and is compatible with the latest version of WordPress. The theme was completely rebuilt, new options have been added. The customize take place of the theme control panel, which allows you to see all the changes made in real time.
BlogoLife became responsive and use the latest version of Foundation (v6) framework. Also the theme contains sources of .scss and .js that can be compiled through gulp.js, now developers and webmasters have a tool that will reduce their working time. Also we added three widgets areas in footer.
I will strongly encourage you to use the Children Theme in case you made some changes.
During the activation on the theme you may need to re-enable Main Menu and Social Menu, select Color Scheme and also to reorganize the widgets in the sidebar. In the section “Appearance” we keeped the older settings in Old BlogoLife tab in case you want to see the old settings.
I wish you a successful blogging!

Thanks.

Any ideas how I do this?

Suddenly on WPLOOK.com there is no Blogolife any more, the link is dead, a mere 12 months after purchase?! It would be nice to at least keep the page https://www.wplook.com/blogolife/ with some information about your understanding of the product life cycle?! Else, my warning to all users about a possible end-of-life for Blogolife (which would be a regretful day)!
And sorry, the confusion was started by your recent mass mailing (…) offering other themes…
hi, you should make this theme responsive. i did it by using this code:
@media screen and (max-width: 1000px) {
#page,#secondary,#header-image,#header-image img,#copy,.entry-content p,.entry-header,.col2,.entry-title,.entry-content,.fright,#footer-widget-area,article,#content {
width:95%!important;
}
.right-sidebar #main {
background: none;
}
}
and also add this to your
(in the file header.php):

The excerpt on the homepage doesn’t show thumbnails. Where and how I can write code to solve it?
Thank you.
