I’m wanting to update the copyright footer on a blueplanet home page at the address district10nia.org. I’ve been to Blue Planet customization options and can’t find anyplace there or in WordPress to change the footer. Any suggestions?

When I edit my posts in the Classic Editor, the tables come out fine. After the theme gets a hold of them the formatting goes straight to heck and back.

I specifically coded the rows to be vertically aligned at the bottom for the table header, yet they show up top on the published page. I wanted the top table row to be centered both vertically and horizontally, yet that went by the way side as well.

Does anyone know CSS well enough who can tell me what extra “CSS Code” I have to put in the Theme Editor Additional CSS area to keep it from fighting with my table header rows? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would ask in a regular CSS forum, but www.ads-software.com doesn’t have one. Apparently you can only ask questions under your theme area. WordPress.com won’t answer any questions for web sites created with www.ads-software.com. SMH.

Is there a simple way to move the Date Post Published and Comments info to the bottom of the post?

I did manage to display the date in the blog roll using this css

.byline, .updated:not(.published) {
  margin-left: 5px;  
	display: inline;
}

Unfortunately I’m unable to find a way to add the text “Last Update” before the date.
Any suggestion?

I did try to manually add a reCAPTCHA field on blue plant but without success.
Under the directory /wp-content/themes/blueplanet/comments.php

Unfortunately I haven’t had success until now, probably because that guide it is for wp2015 theme? Is it possible anyway to add recpatcha field without plugin?

How do I make header image smaller (css?)
No matter what size image I upload it expands to fill the header area image.
I only want it to fill about 20% of it
I know it’s in CSS , but where ?????

Dropdown menus disappear almost immediately when viewed on android tablet. PC and android smartphone viewing works fine. I am a nob so please be specific.

I’m having an issue with toggling blog posts full text and summary in the options. It defaults to summary and does not allow full text for posts to show up on home page. Can someone help me out to resolve?

How do I prevent visitor comments from appearing on the front page, and only show with the associated posts? Using a static front page. No code in the page seems to draw in comments.

Since the last updates (WordPress, SEO and security plugins), the permalinks of my site with the theme “Blue planet” no longer work (error 500).

Note: Permalinks work perfectly with another theme, plugins enabled or not.

Wordpress: 4.7.3
Yoast SEO: 4.5
IThemes Security: 6.2.1
Blue planet theme : 3.6

I use for Blue Planet 1.0.8 as Childtheme. Now the main navigation is no longer shown and the mobile Navi is not displayed.

I deliberately do not update the theme, because in another update the Childtheme was destroyed.

I hope you can help me.

Since updating to Blue Planet 3.1 I have not been able to get rid of the site title text in the header, without completely deleting the text and saving. Same applies to the tagline. Checking and unchecking “Display Site Title and Tagline” does not fix the issue. Is anyone else experiencing this problem on WordPress 4.5 with any advice?

I like some new dropdown menus for customization, as new feature while some i haven’t spotted yet.

The built in theme CSS editor is still not working with some CSS rules. That forced me to use a child theme or CCS plugin editor

Some custom CSS rules that were working perfectly on 2.3 version of the theme are now messed or not working.

While having YOAST Seo plugin active the customizer menu can’t render the website preview.

I will update the post later if I spot other issues, as for now i will keep the 2.3

Just selected the Blue Planet theme as the standard for some new websites. Ho can I change the colour of the mainmenu (background and text)? Specially the standard blie background hast to be changed to our standarad colour.

I have used your excellent “blue planet” theme for a number of sites – many thanks for it. However….

On all but one the mobile menu replacement works well, but I have one site where the menu entries are not visible on a mobile (android 4.4).

the one where it does not work is:

I have overidden the colours for the peacepalace one which I guess means I’ve messed it up in some way, but can’t see where – it works fine on a desktop (firefox and chrome).

In Blue Planet, is it possible to code the URL in a Custom Link so that it creates a new tab instead of taking the current tab to the linked site? I want it to behave like the [target=”_blank”] in HTML.

Site title is not loading. I′m using a child theme of Blue Planet Version 2.3 on WordPress 4.4.
Site title does load when I change the theme, so I guess it′s something in Blue Planet, but I can′t find where is the problem.
Same problem with the text in Search Placeholder (Blue Planet Options – General Options).

Any help would be appreciated.

Can’t figure out how to add a custom link to the header in BluePlanet 2.1. I’m a novice and looked at the back end editors but couldn’t figure out where to add the code.

Hello I updated Blue Planet to the newest version on the 28th of October for the website conferencingplaces.org and Im having a few issues.

The first issue is that the Header will not fit every display it is viewed on. For 720P resolution it looks great but if its 1080p it just wont fill the page.

The second issue Im having is that the left column where all of the listings are displayed has a blue background when the wide layout is selected. Is there any way that i can revert to a previous version of blueplanet or is there a way to fix the two issues i am having? Im recently new to developing on wordpress so any help or suggestions is very much appreciated

I have a new blog I am in the process of building. I am using your Blue Planet Theme (which I like a lot), but cannot figure out how to make the images on the sliders smaller. Regardless of how much I scale them down, the height and width are way too large. Any words of advice?

Hi there guys,

I love the Blue Planet theme because it provides an excellent multi-level navigation menu.

However, I am unable to display a background image within a page when using the Blue Planet theme. I defined a background image within a page by doing this:
– <Edit page>
– clicking <Edit> on the SiteOrigin widget on the row I want to add the background image to
– Under “Widget Styles” within the SiteOrigin editor, click <Design>
– Under “Background Image” select <Select Image>, and choose an image. The image shows up in the thumbnail
– click <Done>
– click <Update>

I view the page, but there is no background image showing.

I tried turning off all the plugins, but the image still didn’t show.

However, as soon as I change to another theme the background image displays as it should within the page.

I would be most grateful of any help to get this working in the “Blue Planet” theme, thanks.
