Boot Store is a great theme, I really like it.
I just have a question : I want the caroussel to appear on large cellphones, like 480px width or so, but even if I change the max width (from 767px to 480px) in inc/custom-header.php, nothing change !
ANd I really want my customers (well, runners) to see, even on the large phones we have, all the things we made for them (on carroussel) before all the side-features (where to sleep, what else to see…)
Can somebody help me on that ? Website is supposed to run on 22 april (no, no, you guys are not under my pressure !)

]]>When logged in as an admin user, I cannot edit the base profile of that user unless I log out and log back in as a different admin. Then I can see and edit the profile of the other admin user but still not the one I’m logged in as.
I thought it was a bio plug in I’d added but it still did it after deactivating.
When I changed to the Twenty Twelve theme it stopped happening and I can see and edit my own admin user profile.
Any ideas how to fix this as I do like the look of this theme.

]]>A’m trying to ad code to the head tag of our WordPress website, theme Boot Store. Logically I thought it would be the header.php, but that doesn’t seem to work.
It’s the https://brosarp.se site where I have added a java script (backaleden.js) to work with the page https://brosarp.se/a-test. I have placed the following code in the header.php:

On my side no widgets are displayed. I have now in the home.php the part if ( ! is_active_sidebar( 'blog' ) ) $col_width = 'span12'; changed to if ( ! is_active_sidebar( 'sidebar-blog' ) ) $col_width = 'span12'; . In the blog posts widgets are now displayed. but not in the page or other parts. what should I consider? no matter what I area and place them back, it will not be displayed.

]]>I’ve added a blog to my site, with a couple of widgets to display in the right-hand sidebar. This side bar is appearing when you click into actual posts, but not on the main /blog page. On the main blog page, the posts appear full width and the sidebar appears underneath them. How can I make these appear in a sidebar for the main blog page as well as for individual posts? Thanks.

I am very new to WordPress, and am having huge troubles customising this theme. I have changed the background image to one of my photos (correct size). I select Save and Preview. This works fine, however when I go to preview the site, it is the stock Boot Store images I am seeing. I have even tried editing the page from the Pages menu, but the same thing happens. What am I doing wrong?

I would like to know how to modify the page templates and/or appropriate .php files so that the page and post titles display at the top of each page. I am new to php and do not quite understand how to locate the right code to change.

]]>Boot Store is a fantastic theme – but only want a picture in the carousel.
I inserted:
style=”display:none”
in the appropriate places on the header.php page and successfully eliminated the button and the original script.
However, when I try to insert text in the page below it keeps appearing in the carousel.
Is there any code I can insert into header.php (or anywhere else that will stop ALL text from appearing in the carousel under ALL circumstances.

The 3 home boxes do NOT have any height and width attributes for the images that are displayed. This definitely slows down page loading speeds and will impact ranking in search engines.

I am using the Boot Store theme and I really love it but I am having some problem publishing the site in WebMatrix.
In my local pc I added custom background, shortcut pictures and custom primary menu and everything works like a charm. But when I publish in WebMatrix to the remote server all the pages and content are available but no the custom background (loads the default one), no shortcut pictures (the text is fine) and no custom primary menu (I think it does not update the menu location).
Is there a way to fix it?

I saw the note “When you use full-width-carousel.php template the carousel always will be visible if it has items” in Appearence > Boot Store, Carousel Setup section, but I’m not sure what this means – ? How do I use full-width-carousel template?
