Can the Template Builder be used to add a unique selling points bar beneath the menu, like you see on some stores? It looks like I could use the header builder but I think that is restricted to 3 rows, but I would need 4.

Hi there, I am setting up a new e-commerce with Botiga, but I noticed that GIF pictures are not animated. They are resized automatically, and are rendered as static images. Is there a way to show them animated in both the catalog and single-product view, please?

Hi, I would love to know how I can change the “meta title” in the Botiga Theme.
With this I mean the text displayed in the tab of my browser, next to the favicon.
Now it shows texts like “you left something in your cart” or “don’t forget this”.

I can’t seem to locate where I can change the default product sorting for my product catalog to most popular. I have removed default sorting under Product Catalog > Layout > Remove Product Sorting but the catalog is still being sorted by default sorting and not by most popular (if I choose most popular from the list again it will do it). In the image below you can see which setting I am looking for.

In the image gallery, since version 2.2.8, the buttons for back, forward, zoom, full screen, and close are displaying incorrectly.

When mouse is scroll to the top right, the cart shows “Your Cart”, this particular string seems untranslateable?

On mobile, I am seeing a “QUICKVIEW” link between the product image and the product title. This link was not present before (it appeared approximately 15 days ago). However, on the desktop version, this link does not appear at all. When I inspect the HTML code, there is no trace of the “QUICKVIEW” link in the code.

Additionally, I went to the “Product Catalog” settings (as you suggest in other inquiries), and the first layout option under Quickview is selected (in both mobile and desktop). Despite this, the link still appears on mobile.

Could you please investigate this issue?

I own Botiga Pro.

I have a website where my single product pages show the usual “Description/Additional information” tabs below the short description. But I have another website where this section is not shown at all and it is driving me crazy, I don’t know where I have turned this off. If I switch back from botiga-child to botiga then it shows again. Where is this controlled from?

I am trying to set up 3 menus in the footer. However, I can’t edit the menus that are there.

The Footer Builder is missing, and the Header Builder is missing. I am using Botiga 2.2.7. There is also no Botiga/Theme Dashboard/Theme Settings as mentioned in the Youtube guide on editing the Header Builder.

All plugins and WordPress is up to date.

How can I make titles of my products listed as wocommerce block grid on the homepage, to looks exactly the same as the ones on a product catalog where I use ?

On product catalog I see titles in h2 class “woocommerce-loop-product__title” a a class=”botiga-wc-loop-product__title” set in Botiga’s typography customizer.

On a homepage, when I add a woocommerce block, I get titles in div class “wc-block-grid__product-title”.

How to make both looks exactly the same as the one on product catalog?

Hi, I am facing two issues on the website’s Arabic page:

The images are not aligned in the center.

The search bar is displayed over the categories as well.

I have a request: Is it possible to make the category headings in BOLD? For example, as you can see in the third screenshot, I want SKINCARE & BODYCARE to be in bold.

Can I add any CSS to the website to make this bold, only for the headings?

I noticed on my website not long ago that when I first load the page the header logo in the top middle loads the correct size then moments later changes to a huge version. It does the same thing on mobile too just not as extreme as on desktop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But i note that at least for me, my blog posts are never referenced or aren’t searchable via the Botiga search feature. I’ve checked the settings in customizer, but can’t see any related to posts.

Is there any thing to be done? A slight code tweak etc?

When i’ve added a virtual product, I cannot skip the ‘shipping’ step. At least it doesn’t show any shipping methods.

It happens, when i use the shopify-theme.

Upgraded to the latest version. Before that, everything worked fine
But as soon as I try to use the customizer, there is a fatal error (allowed memory…)

If I disable the plugin, it works.

Please check and fix.

Hi I would like to raise an issue regarding the visual displays of my product category in the phone version when I switch my website to arabic language (You can use switch using the bottom right floater that says AR) the displays are very unusual and Might be a width issue.

Secondly in the arabic translated version I am not able to view my search bar

So basically two issues in the arabic version of scrolling through categories section of my product

Hi! I am using Botiga for a few weeks now and after going live with the website I noticed the google web crawler bringing heavy load to my website. I am speaking of a website with 150 pages according to the sitemap and 30.000 different URLs crawled by google per day! What happend?

I use the Shop Sidebar with a lot of widgets of type “Botiga – Filter products by attribute”. Each widget creates links to the shop-page with the filters as URL-parameters of type /shop/?filter_xxx=yyy&query_type=or&filter_zzz=aaa . With more then ten filterable attributes in the sidebar, the combination leads to thousands of different links.

I solved the issue with a script that adds rel="nofollow" to all links with url parameters.

Question: Is there any other solution directly integrated in Botiga?

When I scroll down my Website the Font Color of the Navigation (header) is changing it’s color to a light grey which is hard to read on a white background. Where can I change this behavior, so it won’t change the font color?

I’m busy giving my website a bit of a fresh look, and recently installed your free version of you Botiga theme to test how it looks and feels, But i’m unable to find where i can set the site logo or the Favicon. When i’m in my dashboard its still displays my old theme favicon, but when i open the site there is no favicon

Ive tried all the methods in the documentations, and the steps mentioned in some forum threads, but still cannot find it

if you can please assist where i can set this

Hi, it is possible to hide the price on the search bar result?

I’m using Botiga + Merchant…. and working through the site and notice the nice new cart and checkout page layouts by default in woocommerce v.9.0 – but how they arent working yet with Botiga and Merchant. the designs/layouts seem broken.

When will this be working? Being able to work those pages in theme will make a BIG difference…. any idea or ETA?
