I’m attempting to customize the Brunelleschi theme, but my header image isn’t showing up and the sub-menu items under my Feature link are not showing.

Can someone help me figure this out?!

I have been using Brunelleschi theme for five years. I love it.

The last couple of posts I’ve done, the “featured image” has been replacing my header image. I checked all the settings multiple times and I do NOT have featured content replacement chosen. So I deleted the header image and reuploaded a fresh file. Now I have no header image at all.
I checked the code for #headerimg and nothing seems amiss.

Ideas?

Hi there,

I would like my readers to view only one blog post per page when they come to my site. At the moment, there are 3 posts on the home page.

How can I change the settings to show only one post per page?

Can I remove the header from all pages except the Home Page? I’d like to show other photos on the top of the pages.

On my blog, the most recent post is invariably reproduced at the bottom of the page, below the footer. The entire post is visible, and it appears in paragraph delimited, but otherwise unformatted text.

Any suggestions on how to remove this?

Does anyone here know how to remove the top border line from the bottom (footer?) area on all pages of my site?

Can’t see to display a featured image with excerpt. Any suggestions?

When I view my blog in Internet Explorer, the photos are oversized and stretched. Also, when I view it on a mobile device, some of the photos are rotated and upside down. Does anyone know how to fix this or is this an issue with the theme?

This is a great theme and had been fun to customise. But now I have hit a wall and it has stumped me for over two months now. So have given in and decided to post this SOS here.

The page in question resizes the thumbnails fine for iPad, but boxes are left off when it comes to the iPhone.

Have tried writing own media query in child theme but not sure I’m using the correct CSS

Have started with this to begin with but it doesn’t make any difference

I can’t manage to center my footer widgets, have changed every code that says left in the style.css code, but it still floats left. Does anyone know how to center the social icons in the footer on the following address?

Wondering if anyone can help.

Trying to mimic display of blog entries on IPhone display, using Brunelleschi theme. As it is now, text on right and left is cut off when viewing on IPhone.

Also, I adjusted the custom header on the site, which shows up a bit distorted in the mobile version. Just trying to figure out custom CSS that will only affect formatting for mobile devices.

I saw that this is not being updated by the creator, but it is bad timing for me to redesign my site. I’m just hoping to change the theme colors on the mobile view as you can change them on the web view. Anyone know?

There is a couple of posts around the issue that the header image is not displayed.
I had the same issue so i fixed it for my blog https://profiloptimierung.de

I am not sure about the consequences so apply at your own risk. It seems the author removed the “enable image header option” from the theme options page and i am not sure why but it doesn’t look like a mistake to me.

Anyway it worked for me so it might be good enough for you so here is what you need to do (in Version 1.6.5 of the theme):

1, open theme-options.php
2, re-add ‘use-header-image’ option to the file see https://pastebin.com/AdbPs1LG line 83-89; line 418, line 439, line 467 and save the file
3, check theme options page and enable header image
4, enjoy

I’m trying to figure out how to overlay my header text onto a header image. I would just alter the image to include the title and subtitle of the blog but I’m afraid that isn’t great for SEO. Any tips? I’m using Brunelleschi Theme and I only see an option to include text with image….which so far does nothing that I can see.

I don’t want to eliminate the blog or any of its existing content, but I would like to make a static homepage and migrate the blog to it’s own “blog” page on the site. This theme does have a static homepage option, but since my homepage is currently where my blog (and all of its existing content) is, I’m not sure how to utilize the option / make the change.

Any help would be incredibly appreciated!!

I am trying to upload a custom header. For some reason it’s not working. It’s a PNG file – 960 x 198 pixels exactly. I upload the file in the custom header section, it shows in the preview, when I click save changes I get a message saying “Header updated. Visit your site to see how it looks.” When I go to the site, there is no header. What am I doing wrong??

I would like to set a full-width slider (not the small one which is already included in Brunelleschi Theme) on my site. In the Brunelleschi Options you only can adjust the width of the site till 1140px. Which wouldn′t be enough.
Is it possible to change it in CSS?

This theme seems to be a abandoned– and I want to change themes, as much as I like this one.
Has anyone found a similarly designed theme they care to recommend??

I’ve been so happy with my theme for so long, but as I was trying to clean up the site, I inadvertently eliminated my custom header. I’ve tried all day to re-upload the header that worked well before, but I can’t get the size correct. I’ve tried and tried to load different sizes, but I keep getting the same cropped image. The site is Passtheham.com.

I would like to change the list of posts on the ‘posts page’ (main index) to a list of summaries. At the moment it is showing the full post. I tried to do this the normal way – by going to setting> reading. But it didn’t work.

Any help appreciated.

I can’t remove the archive, meta and search bar from the footer of my page.

I’m trying Brunelleschi but can’t use it. Widgets appear on the bottom, not in the sidebar. Other themes work fine, like Twenty Twelve.
