]]>I never had this issue before. I haven’t changed the theme or deleted plugins. For some reason at the top of the page underneath the banner that holds the logo and menu. Theres a big thick dark banner with credits to the theme im currently using. I have tried using plugins to remove it, i’ve tried a multitude of CSS code that doesn’t work either. What shall I do?

I’m trying to create a very simple client banner with 6 images. I could really use some help. I think I may be using the wrong “div class” because extra orange space is created above the images for text. Text should not be a part of this banner, it is entirely a single row of images. Do you know what div class may be appropriate for this type of display? Or is there something else I can do to remove the extra orange space? I’ve tried to use div class=”gallery,” but the orange background is removes when I do this. How can I write this correctly to contain everything currently in the banner, while removing the excess orange space above the brand logo images? Please let me know if there is anything I can do. My Cannyon theme allows 4 footer widgets. I was hoping to display the information horizontally across the page, instead of vertical columns. What might be the necessary code to do this?

I recently used a typography plugin to change the default size of my theme’s paragraph text from 14px to 16px. I examined a few pages to see how everything looked and I noticed all of the body text in bullet format remains 14px, while the rest of the body text in paragraph format is now 16px.
How might I change the bullet format text to 16px, so everything aligns? I’m not sure if there is a simple way to do this through the Cannyon theme, or if there is another category I should look for in my Google Fonts plugin?

When navigating the site as an administrator, I am constantly being prompted with a 503 error page. It states, “Service Unavailable – The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.”
Currently, we only have 11 active plugins: CSS Hero, Easy Google Fonts, Force Regenerate Thumbnails, Google Analytics by MonsterInsight, Redirection, Schema Creator by Raven, ShareThis, Simple Custom CSS, TablePress, WPForms Lite, and Yoast SEO.
Before installing the plugin, we weren’t having the error page. What can be done to solve these problems?

We’re are using the Cannyon premium theme. We have a few video pages and we are trying to figure out the best way to align the body text on the page next to the video, without using a plugin for columns. Here’s one of our webpages: https://dalaigroup.com/maryland-seo/
We have used some basic code on the WordPress page to apply columns, but the margins between the video and the text are too small. I’m very new to code and I am unsure how much I am able to customize on the page itself. What code options might be available to adjust the size of our current columns and their existing margins? ]]>Hello. We recently updated our Theme to the free version of Cannyon. Because our original theme was so old, we made quite a few changes to the homepage. We added a new header image and focused on site navigation changes in the menu, header, and footer. Today we decided to purchase the premium version of the Cannyon theme and it seems to have altered our homepage drastically. All of the webpages we have categorized and indexed for our website are appearing in list format on our homepage. There is no longer a header image or navigation menu. Everything seems to be embedded into a header. We are currently switching back and forth between the premium theme and the free theme (which show no problems), until we can figure out the problem. I am unable to send a screenshot through this first message. Please let us know what the problem could be and how we can get the upgraded theme to look like the free theme.

I’m trying to display a map through the Google Maps API, but the map does not load completely but shows with errors. Also the zoom controls are not displayed properly. The developer console doesn’t register any errors.
Do you have any suggestions where the conflict might be? I am positive it is within the Cannyon theme. (I have created a child theme version of Cannyon, and have all the correct code in place. I have tested the exact same code on other themes and it worked fine).

Media settings are not calling for the thumbnails to be cropped.
Digging through the themes various frameworks, to add the proper file to my child theme with adjustments for less than 100% width display, and uncropped feature images in post views.

]]>What theme files would I edit, and how to make sidebars wider?
It looks as though in wider layouts the sidebars are only say to 3 of the 12 grid. Classes such as these: col-sm-4 col-md-3 col-lg-3
I’ve tried making them all 4, and setting the main content down to 8 from 9.
But I didn’t see those changes taking effect.
The problem is the sidebars are not quite wide enough to accomodate a 300×250 ad, which I’m guessing many people would be using.
I have things set as a child theme, so changes will not be overwritten for me.
Will report back, if I figure it out.

]]>We chose Cannyon because of its clean look, and what it said it could do, even with the free version. After 2 days of trying to get the site to look like we want it to, our frustration level is pretty high. We are thinking of leaving Cannyon altogether and trying a different theme.
We have:
1) tried to change the footer and header background colors because the default text is difficult to see. The titles are dark, and the text is gray, on a very dark background. There is nowhere in the free version to make these changes that we have been able to find.
2) We can’t figure out how to resize the logo to fit within the header.
3) Header tags appear different on different pages, and all we did was type text into the page itself, not change anything else.
4) The FAQ section looks like it was written by someone who knows no English at all.
5) You can’t get any help except in this Forum (I’ve gotten no answers to previous posts) without paying, not even a basic documentation manual or how to guide. That is pretty poor.
6) There is a place to put CSS code to do things, but we are not programmers or web designers and don’t know how to use this without hours of trying to figure it out.
Hopefully someone here will be able to help us soon.
