Hi, how to align header nav, footer nav and content? The content container is 1100px, but the header and footer, Featured Content are all full width. How the navigation is displayed on the left, I changed the style.css but it didn’t take effect.

I′m using the theme catch flames free.

I added a logo to the website traditional way using the panel at the left site in wordpres. The size of the logo is 290 x 45.

When I visit the website for the first time, the logo doesn′t appear. There is only the alt text and the icon to see.

When I visit the page second time, the logo appears.

When I visit the page on other browser for the first time, the logo doesn′t appear. When I visit the page second time, the logo appears.

This happen with other browsers as well. I named the image file which represents the logo with upper case letters. I′m not sure if this relate to this issue.

Is there any way to fix it?

I made some other changes to the website. I don′t know, if these relate to this issue.
I added another image next to the logo. I added image tag below the site details.

I added another image above the site menu. This image take the full width of the page. I also made some other changes.

I′m not sure if these changes relate to this issue.

I’m currently using the Catch Fires theme and am very grateful for having it available to work with.

Unfortunately, I’ve found myself with a little bit of trouble. I created a child theme to add my own settings. I have it on my local host using MAMP and it works just fine. When I migrated it to my hosting, mobile and tablet versions aren’t working (it “smooshes” all weird).

It’s being tested on a subdomain: test.sacredflames.org

I would appreciate any advice or help is solving it.

Using the free version of the theme and liking it.
But when resising the browser, the sliders height isn’t auto-resising with it. Only when the next image kicks in, it obtains the correct height.

I am trying to change the font for the site title to replace the text normally included in this logo. The site can be viewed here.

I am having trouble getting the font switch to work and wonder if someone can take a look and spot what I am missing. The three font variations are loaded in the same directory as the theme CSS file.

Hi, my client is excited about this theme, except for the way the logo shows up in mobile.
Is there a way to control how much the logo size is reduced? In the past her logo has been an icon with text replacing the site title and tagline. This is reduced to a microscopic size, far too small to read. I have tried using just the shapemark with the text site title, but the logo is still far too small and the color of the title needs to change, possibly the font as well.

If the logo were only reduced to the scale of the title and the title changes color it would be a solution.

I have tried a number of CSS solutions but haven’t found the correct styles yet. The site can be viewed here. What code can I use to sort this out?

I love this theme but could you please update the social buttons which display in the header so that they are high res (retina ready)? They also need to be changed to use the current logos of the social networks they are representing. E.g. Twitter haven’t used the ‘t’ logo in ages? Should be the little bird. If as a developer you’re looking for good icon sets for the social networks, maybe consider https://www.flaticon.com. Thanks.

I am now using the Catch Flames theme, but, after adding some code to make the home page show ALL POSTS (not only regular post types, but also 2 of my Custom post types), the Custom types do not have the “Posted on…” Metadata line that includes the Date and author and “Leave a Reply/x comments”.

Where do I change that so that the Custom Post Types also include that?

I would like to change the color of specific sidebars. For example, on my home page I would like to have the right sidebar (Primary sidebar) to be transparent, but the main one and left one (secondary) be white. But I would like to change this to different settings for each page using CSS edit.

Is there an easy way of doing this? When I try to change it, it changes it for all 3.

When reading on the Theme Instructions how to do different things – specifically, change the color of things and also change slider images – the instructions say to (in changing colors)…

To change the colors, go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Color Options”, then select Color Scheme, change individual colors and then click on “Save Changes”

I can find the Color Schemes, but no matter what I click when looking at the 2 available options, I can’t find a way to change individual colors, as it says I should be able to. Same thing with changing slider images. I am following the instructions but after I get to a point what the instructions tell me to do is not available.

Am I missing something? Do I have to purchase the Theme if I want to be able to do everything it says I can? I downloaded a free version but I can’t even find a way to pay.

Hi, what rule in css should I have to modify in order to change links color?
In the light version of the theme it’s something like cyan while in the dark version something like red. But I want to choose a custom color.

Two questions:

1. Does anyone know how to get rid of the white strip above the header image? (Right now mine shows a search bar and social media icons.) I’d rather my header image be flush to the top.

2. Anyone know how to get the social media follow buttons into the sidebar? I clicked to enable this but they still show only above the header and in the footer.

The site is not live yet so I’m not sure how to show this…

I am trying to hide the search bar from the mobile/tablet view, but have not been successful. I was able to hid the search bar from the desktop version by adding this to the custom css:

}

Does anyone know how I can do this for the mobile and tablet views?

I have an image in the footer widget and I have placed the code for that image in the Appearance/Widgets/”Footer Area One”. I used a ‘text’ widget to place the image in.

I am only using ONE footer for this site.
I would like to have the image aligned center across the enter width of the website and have tried several versions of code to try and make that work, but not having any luck.
I have tried code in both areas, CSS section and the Widget Text section.

When I go to create a post, video is not shown as an available post format in the format list in the dashboard. It *is* shown though for older posts (which I created when using a different theme).

Can you confirm whether Cathe Flames supports this post type and, if not, whether there’s a way to enable it?

I’m using a two-column layout and I’m trying to narrow the right column (sidebar). I’m editing the following css:

#primary {
	float: left;
	width: 750px;
}

.two-columns #secondary {
	width: 400px;
}

Whatever value I add to primary, I’m subtracting from secondary (to keep the same total), yet changing these numbers “breaks” resizing the page and the margin between the main column and the sidebar. Is there another value I need to include in my css?

When single column layout is selected, there’s a lot of wasted space, see the above image. How can this be changed do display nearly full width on the home page, while still allowing it to be resized correctly when selecting the two or three column layouts?
