In the WP back office I sometimes put text in bold, but when I visit the site as a normal visitor (front office), nothing is displayed in bold. Do you have any advice for me on how to fix the problem?

Hello WP Pros! ??

I’ve dreamt about a very minimalistic site, decided to chose Cele Theme and am happy about it, however I have a problem with polishing how the homepage looks. I have two concerns:

1. how to reduce spacing between post titles? I’ve removed the “continue reading” link and the horizontal separators, but cannot figure out how to bring those titles closer. any tips?

2. it would be great to know how to custom heights of the left bar elements (page title, description and menu items) – if this is too much fuss, I would like to at least bring the menu items closer together. In my opinion right now it all looke messy with a description glued to the title and the menu items hanging separetly on a random height.

I am so glad cele exists. Thanks for making it.

I’m using elementor, and want to be able to use the “hide title” function. (My workaround is to have no titles for my pages, which makes things difficult.)

It says if it’s not working, to replace the default title selector <h1.entry-title> with your theme’s title selector. I haven’t been able to find this.

What is the “page title selector” in the cele theme?

This error:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_action() in /home/blkbelly/public_html/wp-content/themes/cele/inc/customizer.php on line 4

is displayed at the top of every page of the website and also prevents the use of the WP Admin area.

This problem started Dec 4 2018 as far as I can tell. I found many cases of this error showing up on other websites but can’t find any discussion about what causes it or how to fix it. Any suggestions?

trying out your nice looking theme Cele.

Is it possible to opt-out that the sidebar is fixed/non-scrolling? If there is another widget below the menu there is no chance to scroll down.

The sidebar is fixed but the bottom bar scrolls up and down and hides some of the sidebar content.

Customizing Cele

You don’t need to know CSS to tweak and customize your site with it. Cele has dozens of pre-written CSS snippets you can copy and paste in the Cele CSS Snippets Collection.

Advanced customization

If you need to reorder elements in the template or make complex customizations, you’ll need to use a “child theme“. You can click here to download a starter child theme for Cele and find basic setup instructions here.

Something went wrong!

If you notice something isn’t working that used to work, check out the Cele changelog. It will let you know about the recent changes so you can check if an update caused the new error.

If you do ever have an issue with a new version of Cele, you can always use the WP Rollback plugin to revert to a prior version without the error.
