How can I remove “Leave a Response” link on front page posts and once post is clicked? I don’t want comments.
I removed “tags” on front page, how do I remove once post is clicked?

I have posted images to my installation and they always include a blank trailing line when they’re displayed on the home page of the blog. I would like to know how the image posts can be formatted to a “tighter” fit. The side of the images are automatically re-sized to fit without a problem. Just the bottom (footer?) shows up with an extra line or space.

I haven’t been able to find anything that might be creating this unwanted space. I can edit code or CSS if I’m told what to look for.

I’m a newbie to coding for WordPress, and wondered if someone could help point me the way to making some much needed changes to my site at wildflowersmovement.com

I have most of my menu items working the way I want, but the last two are categories named “events” and “blog”. First of all I’d like to keep the primary menu navigation on top of both of those pages when they are opened.

Secondly I’m trying to customize the format of the “blog” so that the articles present as single posts across the page lined up one on top of each other.

I have been able to locate the category.php under the “wp-includes” folder. I appreciate your help.

I am having an issue in this theme where I scale a photo in a post and when I preview the post, the image is not resized. I removed the heigh: auto from the CSS that I found in another support post for this theme but it did not fix it for me. https://www.fashionswain.com

I am basically having the same problem as in this post.

I have recently switched Technology Bloggers to Celebrate, and I think it is really great.

One thing that really bugs me is that sometimes article previews will overlap. Sometimes if I refresh the page the problem will correct itself, but sometimes different articles overlap instead.

I’m trying to add a custom template to the celebrate theme. I’ve saved the new template and selected it for my page, but its broken somehow and I can’t figure it out. The webpage is blank when I preview it. I used this tutorial https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Page_Templates

I tried to translate It manually and by plugin (CodeStyling Localization). It didn’t work -where are the files, where i may find words to translate?:)

Plugins reports: Loading Issue: Author is using load_textdomain instead of load_theme_textdomain or load_child_theme_textdomain function. This may break behavior of WordPress, because some filters and actions won’t be executed anymore. Please contact the Author about that.

I’ve added a new sidebar by updating the functions.php and placed the sidebar in the footer.php. I can see the new sidebar in the widgets panel, and I am able to drag widgets to it, but I cannot see them on the site. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I think this came up in a prior post, but the proposed solutions didn’t work for me. Basically, the title of my website is running right off the screen instead of resizing. It doesn’t even look right on my desktop, but by the time I get down to my cell phone, I get all of two letters. How can I fix this? Thanks!

I just updated the theme, and now I can’t upload images. When I go to the “Add Media” screen, there isn’t any capability to upload images. I also updated my WP software, but my other themes are working just fine so it seems to be something to do with the Celebrate theme.

And I wanna add some my own sidebar widgets, but there are no sidebar.php.
I have tried to insert my widgets to sidebar-primary.php, it worked but the location of widgets cannot be modified and always at the tail of sidebar.

Could I control the location of my costum widgets?

So, this is tricky because the site I’m building isn’t live yet so I don’t want to link the problem, but for some reason page text in em tags is not rendering as italics, and if I use i tags instead the text renders in bold. Doesn’t matter what browser I try. Seems… odd?

ETA: Nevermind, whatever. I customer CSS’d the tags to what they’re supposed to be. But, weird.

Ive started trying to suss this out myself, but in case anyone’s already done it: anyone figured the CSS to make a sticky post render all the way across the blog posts content area, and then the rest of the posts as normal?

ETA: I ask because if I just go and make article.sticky wider, all of the other posts start rendering in a single column down the left, and no longer float into their intended layout.

SInce the header is a background image, is there any way to get it to just resize based upon device width instead of just acting like the mage is being cropped? M header image looks fantastically stupid on, say, my iPhone, because it’s just being zoomed in on instead of resizing to look the same as it does on the desktop.
