Manage Woocommerce but not Settings, System Status, or Addons

  • I want a Woocommerce admin to manage coupons and orders and change the users address. Basically do office work. Edit users etc. But currently because I click ‘manage_woocommerce’ than they can mess things up pretty bad. I was ablet to hide the reports. However, they can change the whole Settings of the Woocommerce and mess with System status and Addons. I would like them to not be able to create, read, update, or delete anything under this. I don’t see anything that can be checked to prevent those features while still allowing them to do what I described above. You can see how this is a big problem. Often you don’t want office people to have that kind of power over your site. Please give me a solution within this plugin. Thank you.

    With CME, you can add or remove any capability used by an external plugin. But keep in mind that all CME does is add or removes the capability from a role. The external plugin code (Woocommerce in this case) determines how any capability is applied.

    If you add or remove a capability and Woocommerce is still not working as expected, contact Woo support for clarification about their capabilities model.
