How can I remove the side bar from one specific page in order to have a full width template. I can remove the side bars with plugins but the content area doesn’t grow. The empty side bar still takes up space.
]]>I have woocommerce pg as my homepage. The widgets area is showing underneath everything. It is also only showing native widgets on woo single product pgs and still at the bottom. When it does show at the right on regular pgs, it is showing only the native widgets. Sidebar issues with woo are very uncommon from my testing with many themes.
This would look lovely.
]]>I updated to Chip Life 1.5 and my pages look totally different. Banner is very small. Submenus are exploded. Horizontal menus are not vertical. Selected widgets are different. The site is not usable – https://www.tngenweb.org/decatur
Are there any guidelines for migrating to 1.5? I am unsure where to start in getting back to a usable web site.
Thanks,
Jerry
After hours of trying to figure out the problem of why Google DFP ads were not delivering last night, I discovered that the issue was indeed user (myself) error.
I was testing Google DFP ads with only 1 test advertiser and had that advertiser set to only deliver one ad at a time. I adjusted the delivery settings to deliver “one or more” then I started getting multiple ad placements in my widgets. To fully test it I’ll need to create multiple advertisers to fully populate my ad spaces.
I have apologized to the theme creator for posting a message while waiting for a response. This theme is good… as long as you’re familiar with the plugins and ad servers you want to use.
]]>If you are looking for a theme to use with Google DFP ads and a theme provider with good support and response times, don’t pick this theme or anything from it’s provider. I submitted the same request 3 times and received no response whatsoever.
I was using Chip Life framework with Chip Zero Child theme. My Google DFP ads would show in “Sponsor” widgets but not in Text widgets in sidebar or footer areas. Searched their documentation and support forums and the amount of detail and documentation was surprisingly unhelpful.
I would strongly recommend to www.ads-software.com that they remove this and other products from this provider from their catalog.

]]>My WordPress blog will be a members only site with pages that will have content and a video. There will only be pages. No posts. I do not want a navigation bar that goes across the top of the page because there will be too many pages (20+). I need a side bar where I can have as many page links as I want.
Will Chip Life work if I only want pages and page links in the sidebar?
