Hi,
Great theme. Thank you.
I would like to ask if this theme is compatible for Adsense?
Thank you so much in advanced!

I have a problem with the side and search bar, I think the problem is related to jquery. I tried many solutions across the internet but nothing work!
They work sometimes only during the customizing mode

Thanks
I love the “latest post grid” on the homepage, but for some reason it has begun showing the second-most recent article rather than the first. Has anyone else had this problem?
It is not related to sticking a post at the top of the page

Also I tried getting Archive Layout to full width in Archive Options in CoBlog Options and it is still boxed.

]]>When I use the Appearence > Widgets menu and add the Tag Cloud to the Sidebar, it is using the “.tagclud a” class and it looks as it should be.
But when I add a Tag Cloud Widget block to a Page, it will use only “.a”.
I added “coblog_widget widget_tag_cloud” as addidtional CSS to the block, but it doesn’t help.
How can I fix this?
]]>I’m using the 4th Header Layout, the thin and black one. When I click on the search icon, in the search popup the field has bright corner with rounded edges while focused. Not tested with other layouts.
To remove it you might want to add the line:
outline: none;
to this part:
[type=”search”] {
-webkit-appearance: textfield; /* 1 */
outline-offset: -2px; /* 2 */
}
Hi, I am new to WordPress and I chose Coblog theme.
I had my site hosted by somebody else and I used to use a square image as the featured image for each of my blog entry.
When I moved my contents to WordPress with Coblog, I am sure my square featured images were being displayed as squares but I have noticed this morning that my featured image is now shown as a rectangle thus half of that is missing. Even when I click the image, it stays as a rectangle.
Could you please tell me how I can show the image in a square box?
Thank you for your help in advance!
Hi Coblog,
I have recently realised that my style.css sheet is not showing any changes on my website. Only css added through the ‘additional css’ tab in WP editor is working.
Any idea how to correctly enqueue the parent theme?
This is my functions.php file:
<?php
/**
* Enqueue theme scripts and styles.
*/
function coblog_child_scripts() {
// Child theme stylesheet.
wp_enqueue_style( 'coblog-child', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css' );
// Font Awesome.
wp_enqueue_style( 'font-awesome', 'https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css' );
// Custom Scripts
wp_enqueue_script( 'coblog-child-scripts', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/js/scripts.js', array( 'jquery' ), '1.0', true );
}
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'coblog_child_scripts', 8 );
The style.css sheet starts with:
/*
Theme Name: Coblog
Theme URL: https://thecodinglawyer.com
Description: Coblog Child
Theme Author: Adam Hackl?nder
Author URL: https://thecodinglawyer.com/
Template: coblog
Version: 1.0.0
Text Domain: coblog-child
*/
My issue is that I am trying to edit the search field and therefore need to be able to edit the style.css sheet.
Thanks!
]]>How is the default font loaded with this theme? For what I need I want to unload Roboto and load something like Open Sans or Lato and as far asI see there is no option to make the change in the settings pannel
]]>Coblog has the load more navigation type? If not, would be cool to be implemented. And some settings to change the categories meta design( for example to chose cat links as pills instead of underlined text) to make the theme integrate better with Ultimate Post plugin.
]]>Trying to setup Coblog for a new site and as I see, posts featured images are sized as squares of approx 200px, instead of being full width. I don’t know if that’s from me or a bug in the theme.
Also, on post meta the post author link is there but it doesn’t display anything.
]]>Im seeing an issue and I don’t know if it is from the theme or from me. Comments list heading looks like this 2 thoughts on “https://Welcome%20to%20the%20Future%20of%20WordPress%20with%20Gutenberg”
Thank you for any help
]]>Hello, I’m trying to create a child theme from coblog with child theme configurator plugin, but it shows this error when I try to preview or activate the child theme after it successfully created with the plugin.
the error:
” There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin em”
Hello, there is a weird double-date formatting issue for latest posts and single posts where there is two dates together. I found that this can be addressed in the file: coblog->template-parts->latest->latest-post.php on line 59. Thanks.
]]>Before trying to use Coblog, I was curious if it’s pages make it possible to embed videos to accompany the blog text. I was envisioning a window in the article that linked to an accompanying YouTube video. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks very much!
]]>Tried the customizer and if I saw correctly default values are missing.
For example if I change the default primary color to something else and then delete the new color it returns to nothing( #RRGGBB) not the default color.
]]>I recently changed to the theme “COBLOG”. However Upon changing the site logo from “COBLOG” to my main page logo, it is unable to change it. Right now, my main site has the “COBLOG” title and support is unable to update it:
From Support:
I checked the settings but couldn’t find the setting to edit the site title.
I mean you can edit the site title form WordPress.com> My Sites> Design> Customize> Site Identity> Site Title
However, I could not find the option to edit the title ‘Coblog’
