Hi there, can you check why the search form is not working, when “The Post Grid” plugin is active? It looks like a conflict between Conflict Colibri WP & The Post Grid. Thank you!

When I first installed Hillstar (a Colibri theme) it had a section at the bottom of the home page, below the hero image, where blog posts were showing up with a (temporary) purple image and a link to the post.

As soon as I installed and activated Colibri, it removed all of that (and changed other things I had already tweaked, very annoying), and now I can’t figure out how to get it back.

The best way to see how it was originally is to look at the WP theme demo for Hillstar and scroll down to the bottom half of the home page: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/hillstar/preview/

Any help getting this back would be greatly appreciated. I will end up uninstalling Colibri if I must, but I was hoping to use it for some other elements I want to customize. Thank you!

UPDATE: Even worse. I just discovered that if you click on the word BLOG in the top nav menu (a word/link that was not there before installing Colibri) it brings up a page titled BLOG (which has the layout that used to be on the home page below the hero image, so that’s interesting). But this page is located at /blog. This page (or category?) did not exist before Colibri and I do not want a “blog” as a subsection of my site. I just want the posts on the home page.

I want to get rid of the maximum amount of blog posts that appear on the Posts page. How would I go about setting it to “unlimited”, so that all my blog post archive appear?

I have a Posts page and a ACF Post type. I want the Recent Posts Widget ONLY on the Posts page.

I have the Recent Posts Widget on the Posts page – great! It’s also appearing on my ACF Post Type. If I delete the widget in the Colibri theme, it deletes it on both the Posts page and my ACF Post Type. If I unlink all the styles before removing the widget, it still deletes it off of both pages.

Is there a way to customize the removal of this widget only on my ACF page, and not my Posts page?

I spent months of my free time learning how to use Colibri, and trying to enter schema.org markup which I found can’t be done, because I assumed that it could enter the markup. For decency, you should state this in the description of the theme. I also paid for the Upgrade.

How to move or reorder blocks in ColibriWp

I am losing my ming how impossible this thing is or am I just so stupid that there is now any kind of drag and drop way to move fully made block to up and down over another block!?!?!?

And if want to add block under current one it only pus then uder everything as lst and you cannot move them ANYWHERE!!!

How do you put in Microdata structured data markup? I tried using shortcode, using a shortcode component, but the itemtype, itemprop and itemscope markup I put in is missing from the backend.

After installing business one demo i can change first two images, but third image is not selectable… How to change this please?

Please update to the latest versions before editing in Customizer.

Hi, i want to delete the Google tag manager script which is supposed to be in the header. I cant acces header the normal way throught Colibri settings/ customizer. If i look with FTP/ Filemanager i cant find the supposed file. Where does Colobri store this, what file do i need?

The core GTM snippet that allows it to work on your site is a small JavaScript code that is usually added before the closing </head> tag on every page. To remove GTM, simply delete this snippet.

Here are the steps:

• Log in to your site’s code editor.
• Open the header.php file or whatever file(s) contain the <head> section of your site.
• Look for a code snippet that starts with <!– Google Tag Manager –>.
• Delete that entire snippet.
• Save the file(s).
• And with that, Google Tag Manager is removed from all pages.

I want to make an anchor on a button to go to a section at the bottom of the page. For this I use # by naming CSS ID the section and #link in the button.
This works on computer but not on mobile.
How to do ? I can’t find any documentation on this.

I have a sidebar with a menu on my desktop version. However the sidebar disappears on tablet and mobile.

I would like to have one menu as the header in the banner on desktop only. Then have a second, completely different menu when it switches to mobile.

So on a desktop, it shows the Header Navigation “Header Menu” of Item 1, 2 and 3 on desktop.
On the offscreen panel for mobile and tablet, it shows the Offscreen “Mobile Menu” with buttons 1, 4, 5 and 6.

I’ve tried creating 2 menus on desktop banner, and using “responsive” to show and hide it. But whatever I change the offscreen panel to, that menu appears on the desktop.

Hello, suddenly my mobile hamburger menu does not respond on all pages and my google maps is not working on my home page. i tried updating everything and clearing my cache but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help

All of a sudden, the heirachy of Parent and child sub-categories are no longer displaying properly. I did the plugin conflict test. And, or plus, the sub-categories are not propogating to Geodirectory categories menu. I have about twenty sub-categoris to the parent category “Football”. Is this a possible theme tweek that I need to?

And, the WordPress CPT category for “Sports” seems to be the only CPT that is having this problem

We’ve been having issues with our ssl certificate due to “mixed contents”. So basically, the problem are 29 links such as

https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink
https://www.w3.org/2000/svg
etc. that are basically part of the theme and cannot be edited by me.

Is there any solution to this?

Hello, I’m having the same issues this used has/had.

The problem is that while on mobile, the main category of each link within the menu isn’t clickable. So if you click on the link of the main page, it only opens the drop down menu or closes it, the only links that function are the sub-links of the accodrding drop down link.

In my case, it’s the link “Kinderprinzenpaar” & “Tanzgruppen”. Only the sub pages of these categories can be opened, but not the main pages.

How do I fix this?

I’m using the free version at the moment and am sold on going for the paid version EXCEPT I’m not sure if I can fix a problem I have.

The problem is that while I have set up pages pretty much as I wanted, I have to have a menu that is black letters on white or some other contrasting colours. Unlike my other pages, I cannot change to white on black which suits the style of my home page.

Is this a limitation of the free version or could it be bigger than that that? Or am I missing something? I can easily change the background of the menu using the ‘column’ settings but simply can’t find any way to change the colour of the menu items.

does anyone know how to make sure the image in the mobile version takes up the whole space in the hero section? At the moment the image I added appears really small and stretched out, and it’s not professional.

Do you also know how to incorporate the image in the navigation as well? At the moment I have a grey band which looks quite odd.

I added a slideshow with images on my homepage in the hero section but when I check on the mobile version, the images are not centered. The settings changed when I added the slideshow because the person who did my website managed to put a perfectly centered image. Now I don’t now how to make sure the image is completely visible on the mobile version (writing included which is already on the image).

Does anyone know how to do this? I’m not very good with technical info on WordPress or website design. I tried to follow the advice someone else gave to add an additional CSS I think but it doesn’t seem to be working

I need to remove (or rename) some of the Reusable Sections I saved in Colibri WP, but I don’t see how to edit from the list. The only way I know to access a list of these sections is to click on the + to add a predefined block and scroll to my Reusable Sections. If there’s another/editable list somewhere, I’d like to know! I am using Colibri Page Builder Pro and have found that whenever I set a text character to “Superscript” – an extra space is being added before it. This does not present in the editor mode, only shows up on the live pages. I have tested this on different characters in different locations. It seems that no matter what character is set to superscript, an extra space will be added before it. Is there a workaround for this?

I have been using multiple page posts using <!–nextpage–> markup prior to changing to this theme.

My previous theme shows the page numbers at the buttom of the post. However, with this theme, no page navigation is showing.

Is there anything that I could do to activate this feature with this theme?
