I am interested in widening the default width of the theme, but there is not way to set this in Appearance>Customize>Layout.
Presumably I can do this with CSS, but I don’t immediately see the area of the stylesheet that I should try to modify with custom CSS.
Any help would be greatly welcome.

]]>Hi there, I’m currently having an issue that when I’m navigating through the different pages of my site when I try to use the home button link below the navigation menu to return to my home page it redirects and displays in the browser the IP address my home page is on and not the domain name
[example]
Main menu [Home] [About] [Contact] [Info] Below that:
[*Home*] >> [About] (when I try to go back to the Home page from the About page using the link “*Home*” below the main menu it directs me to the ip address of my website instead of the domain name.
E.g. Instead of taking me to the domain name of website (www.example.com) it instead takes me to (25.082.086.755) it is the only link that is giving me this issue as all other methods to return the Home page direct me to my domain name.
Hi,
I have created a “social links” menu for my website and included a Facebook and a Bandcamp icon.
Unfortunately this is not working for Bandcamp, it shows a question mark …
According to the docs Bandcamp icon should be supported.
I have the latest version of WordPress (5.5.1) and Coral Dark theme (1.3).
What’s wrong ?
Thank U for your help !

How can I move the sidebar to the right side of the screen?

]]>Hi;
I installed Coral Dark as my theme and created a child theme. Then I modified the child theme index.php file and added a link to a new template file I created in the child theme directory.

Here’s the code of the index.php file

]]>Hello…
I was thinking and I think Discord could be a social media icon as well?
I’m trying to make the featured image on my most recent post look the same on my home page as it does in the page for the post itself. It looks right for the post below that, but on the top post the picture is shrunk and to the left, not full size and centered.
I tried using the Simple Image Sizes plugin, but I don’t know enough about how it works to solve the issue.
Thanks!

]]>Hello!
First of all, thanks for creating this great dark theme!
While working on a game’s website I’ve run into a problem and I couldn’t solve it on my own. The problem I need help with is about the mobile version, desktop one looks good.
So, we are trying to create a wiki-like page on the website but the Table for some reason is aligned at the bottom of the page on mobile. Any suggestions how to solve it? It’s kinda important to be on the top.
Thanks for your help in advance,

Hi there,
I’d like to center the main menu and logo for my website.
Please let me know how this can be achieved.
Thanks in advance,

I am unable to upload a site logo. It freezes on the crop image screen when I select the file.
]]>Hey, thanks for the great theme.

]]>I have spent DAYS on this.
The hamburger, along with the word “Menu” are huge ugly honkers when viewed on a smart phone. They are the same size as the (rather large) title and look terrible.
People say, oh just go into CSS and specify a smaller font size for the menu button.
NOPE. I have done this in the CSS file, in Custom CSS, put !important everywhere. It doesn’t work!
Possibly I need to modify the Header.php file, because it specifies that the FA bars icon is being used. This is where it all starts to go over my head.
Also, the hamburger appears on my horizontal tablet. I want the “real” menu here. Can’t seem to change it. Though the icon is much smaller on my tablet. In fact, it’s so small I can hardly see it.
I didn’t think I was such a CSS newbie, but sizeable chunks of my life are now gone. Help!
This is a self hosted site
Using iPad Air 2 (unclear if issue is with other models)
HTML gallery exported by Adobe Lightroom.
Option for Lightroom Format is ‘gridgallery’
Using WordPress Theme ‘Coral Dark’
Problem does not exist on iPhone 7 or on a Mac desktop using safari
Wordpress is up to date
By clicking on any of the images in this gallery using iPad Air 2, the formatting is all messed up. The top and bottom margins are incorrect. I got as far as thinking it is a @media setting issue but don’t know what code to change without messing it up.
How do I determine if it in fact that and not something else with the theme or compatibility with lightroom export? I am guessing it is a @ media (768?) problem. Unsure. Please help.
Thankyou,
-Neil

I Need a Way to Turn off the Featured image from showing at the top of every page and post
]]>On my home page I display a large photo. I need to move it higher toward the top of the web page, even if it falls under the menu and logo.
]]>I’ve noticed a number of other topics asking how to make the blog posts page and each post display at full width without the sidebar of widgets.
Yes it is an easy point and click option for setting up pages at full width though…
It seems quite circumstantial with each WordPress site or theme…
I am seeing a few fixes with a CSS code..
Could some one please help me with a custom CSS for this particular site/theme?
I am trying to display the blog (posts page) and all posts at full width without sidebar/widget. Thank you in advance!
]]>Hi. I have the Pro version of Coral Dark.
Have a wider logo at https://www.turningleft.net. This crushes the size of the search bar next to the logo, leaving a large area of blank space between the two.
How can I style this area? Would like to increase, perhaps, the size of the logo to 100% (only 500px wide, 100 px tall). Already have the Child Theme installed.
I see I can also add social media buttons up there, so there has to be room.
Thanks for helping me understand the theme.

]]>Hi all, im hoping someone can help me,
Im very new to css and have made some small edits in the custom css area of my site, however there is one thing I can’t seem to change no matter what I try so I’m obviously going wrong somewhere. Im pretty happy with everything else and am hoping to take my site live this week but I’m stuck with one thing
I want to increase the size of my custom site logo but I just cant figure out how as nothing I’ve tried has worked.
In the customizer settings the logo image is limited to max width of 50% & height of 300px which is what I presume is stopping me from having a larger logo despite trying various custom header css options i’ve found online.
My site isn’t live yet so I haven’t posted a link but if necessary ill gladly disable the coming soon page for anyone wanting to check it out to help me
Thanks in advance
]]>I can set the left side-bar to a percentage value in Customizing Layout, but how do I remove it completely? I’ve removed all the widgets, but the percentage option does not have zero. Where should I be looking?
]]>Hello. I have the Pro version of the theme and just realized that my Posts pages are duplicating the main picture.
I wanted the picture to be highlighted in the excerpts on the main blog page so I allowed one of my RSS Importers to automatically save the main pic as featured image. This worked for putting the picture on the Blog Excerpt page, but now each post has the featured image on top, and the same image in the post.
The next step is to find a way to remove featured images from the Post pages, hide them or whatever… but I can’t find a way to do this.
OR I can just find a way to allow photos in the excerpts, and then I can scrap featured images all together.
My main blog page: Tajanator’s Diary
An Example of a post page with duplicate photos: Lawn Mowing Day
Any suggestions?
