so i am practicing with wordpress. i am trying to build a car rental website (on a local computer) and i am having this issue.
I want to have hour 23:00 selected as default and have it hidden for the user.
I only want the client to have the option to choose from calendar but have default drop off time selected as 23:00

I haven’t touched any CSS or done anything strange. The site is new, and seemed to have no problem until I made the first blog post.

in ‘customization’ I can choose Sidebar Layouts default for all pages, and that works.
but if on an individuate page if I change the template it displays the sidebar but does not alter the template sidebar position.
I hear that the older version did not have this issue.
so I will live with out sidebars, maybe until theme is updated, better theme than I am use to using anyway.

Hello, in the slideshow there is no link to visit the related post of the active slide.
Not apparent, and no display:none, no in the code.
I created a slideshow based on posts (all post categories) bubbled.
Can you help me to find the reasons ?

I updated this website to version 2.1.2 and now I am having issues with the display. For example, on the home page (front page) content is not showing up on a desktop computer but it does show up on an android device. I would like some assistance as none of my submenus work. I am unable to click on the submenu or any of the the main menus that the submenus/dropdown menus are attached to.

Great theme thanks for the effort.
We have a problem in that we have a menu placed at Header Secondary Nav.
Each menu item has a drop down list of several sub items. Of those some have secondary menus. These secondary menus appear below the drop down menu. If you move the mouse to get to the secondary menu item, the whole drop down menu disappears before you can get to the secondary menu below.
Is there any way to get the secondary menus to appear to the side and not below the drop down so that we can navigate to them.

when a regular user signs up, the upper wp bar shows a drop down menu option called cc settings. of course the user is denied access but still this shouldn’t be shown.

customize theme > site identity

the fields site title and tagline

the option to show the site title should be given. if you already have a logo, you don’t need to see the site title.

i know. you can leave it blank but then when google indexes your site, it will just show TAGLINE instead of SITE TITLE – TAGLINE.

The secondary nav doesn’t seem to work in responsive/mobile views. I prefer the positioning of the secondary, so is there a way to make it work? If not I can switch to the header top nav, but where do I change the colors? I managed to change the color on the secondary but now I don’t even see where I did that??

On the customizer, I can see Posted on 7/20/2017 in Category by Author under the post title but that is not showing on the live site. How do I make it show?

I have a custom menu in my right sidebar. Each line has too much space between them. How do I close up the leading on that list?

By mistake I updated the theme to 2.0. It changed everything on my website https://www.weclean.co.za I have been trying to get it to atleast look like a website again. I would like to use the slider, but I cannot get it to work. In the customizer it shows the new slider etc. I update it and then visit the website, nothing shows. Any advice?

I upgraded to Custom Community v2.0.30 and now everything about my site is jacked up. No header image, not main image, nav buttons look and are placed differently. There shouldn’t be THAT much difference when upgrading versions of a theme!!! There’s no way for me to roll back either. Ugh.

Theme demo page looks nice, but when I install it only gives option to customize some widgets. No header options, no layout options.

On “live preview” it gives a white screen of death.

Deleted, re-installed, no difference.

I have a MultiSite.
BuddyPress is active on one subsite. I chose Custom Community theme for it.
No issues with other themes
I have deleted and re-installed Custom Community with no changes in the issues.

When I open the Customizer with Custom Community, I get a warning:

1). The live site and Customizer preview look very different from each other:
– the site name font is very different
– the layout below the header is different
– no slideshow on the live site
(but maybe the theme default slider does not appear on the live site?)

2). In the Customizer, when I hit “Save & Publish” the button does not change to “Saved”, but some changes are saved

I just updated to the most recent version of Custom Community and it meant I had to reset a lot of my theme settings as it’s changed so much. I previously had it set up so my homepage would only show a snippet of each post, rather than the whole posts. However now it has reset to showing the whole posts on the homepage. How do I put this back to show only snippets of each post on the homepage? I’ve looked through all the settings but can’t find the option.

Header Secondary Nav: does not show on mobile android or iphone. If you click on the navigation it will only show the Header Top Nav items.

Weirdly, I can successfully change it on

In both cases I use the following CSS code:

Even more weirdly, on the webpage where I cannot change the background color, the border color change works fine. What could be the reason for this erratic behaviour?

When I select the checkbox “on pages” under “Display Header Image” then the image is visible on all pages including the static Home page. But if I select only “on static frontpage” then the image is not visible on that page.

How to make it visible on the Front Page (Home) ONLY?
