The recent Di Business theme update (March 3rd, 2024) wiped my functions.php file sitting in the Food Business child theme. Luckily I had saved a backup of my code, so I was able to restore it, but any reason why this would happen? I thought it was safe to create code within a child theme and that it wouldn’t be overwritten during a parent theme update? I’ve been using this child theme for at least three years and never had this happen before.

]]>Hello i really need help. How to fix or disable auto crop function in this theme? I’ve been looking for tutorial (example : https://help.magniumthemes.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002996813-How-to-disable-featured-images-auto-crop-in-WordPress) but when i take a look in the funtions.php i can’t find any like that. When i set any of my post on my blog with vertical featured images, all of the featured images became horizontal. I want to disable the auto resize/crop so the featured images wouldn’t cropped to horizontal. I’ll wait for any tutorial, thanks before.

I’ve created a child theme of Di Business. I found out that my child theme’s css is loading before the parent’s css in the file “class-di-business-engine.php”.
After changing the order of “di-business-style-core” and “di-business-style-default” it works fine, but I don’t think I’m supposed to do that? ??

Hi, I’m hoping someone here can help. I’v set up what will be a dropship site using the Di Business theme and Elementor. I need to make a few adjustments before it’s ready but there is a menu that I don’t seem to be able to remove. It is the black square in the top right corner that is covering my shop and account icons. I’m not sure where this menu is coming from or how to remove it? when nobody is logged in, everything is perfect – the logo link goes to the “home” page. but when you are logged in, the logo link goes to the “account” page. i don′t know why.
any ideas?

I just downloaded DI Business Pro theme and want to upload into my WordPress dashboard but I keep getting the message below. “Installation failure due to missing style.css stylesheet” –please advise how to fix this. I am on a deadline. I tried uploading it as a theme, a plug-in; I also made sure to add my web address – no luck. Also do you have to purchase something else to make the site responsive (I see on your site that it is another product offered). I am new to this but this is very user unfriendly.

]]>So I did the child theme as recommended. Named it di-business-child. When I customize it looks like I want it to, so far. When I am in wordpress dashboard and do page preview it has none of my modifications I did in the customize screen of my child theme. When I publish it… same thing. None of my menu changes appear it shows the standard out of the box menu I am guessing.
I created functions.php like the wordpress codex stated.
Maybe I am missing something? Can anyone tell me “exactly” how to set this up correctly? Using di-business-child directory. I am really new to this.
Any help to dumb this down for me would be greatly appreciated!
