I am using Diginews . I want to remove the search engine from the right side. I want to put the phone number there.

How can I do that ?

I have two questions about this theme which we are currently using for our site.

1. Is there any way to change the colors of the theme. Particularly, the red and black colors.

2. Is there any way to replace the Title with an image?

3. Is there any way to make the posts on the page appear as summaries instead of showing the entire post?

I am using the DigiNews theme. The menus do not appear correctly on an iPad. The site is https://www.ncpoliticalnews.com. Does anyone have a fix? I have searched and found other threads referencing similar problems, but have not seen one with a solution offered.

I wonder how I can translate “continue reading” into my own languages Danish. I found the words in the content-image.php-file and how changed it there, but it does not show on the site. Does anyone have an idea what to do?

Right after the 3.9 update was installed, when I type a post, there is no longer any spacing after paragraphs (after hitting “enter,” twice). It now looks like one long column. I did, however, get 2 posts to partially, make the spacing, while other posts still will not make a space between paragraphs. It looks silly, and really want to get it fixed, as it look unprofessional! My website is https://eagleeyedeals.com/. I’ve been trying to hide tags in this theme and no luck. Right now, all meta elements are hidden: Categories, Tags and Comment count altogether. Site: https://is.gd/2kAMEB

For the time being, my solution has been to hide “article[id*=post-] footer”

Is there a way to hide only the tag section in Diginews theme?

Most of my right-hand column widgets are invisible to viewers. All eight are still listed on my widgets page, but only the first four are visible. I don’t remember making any changes that would account for this. Any suggestions?

I am having issues with adsense ads and this theme. When I paste the adsense code into a post or a page, it displays about a half inch below where it should. It was also showing a yellow shaded area where the add was supposed to have been positioned so I inserted

ins {
background: none;
}

to my css style and it made the yellow disappear, but the extra spacing is still there. You can see the problem in this post.

I don’t have this issue with other themes but I would like to keep this one.

I really like the Diginews theme, but for some reason the menu changes to a vertical menu when viewing on the iPad…it doesn’t do it on the iPhone, just the iPad. I wouldn’t mind but it is covering up my content somewhat. Is there a fix for this that anyone knows of?

For your consideration..

Consider change line 413 of functions.php from:

wp_enqueue_style('style', get_template_directory_uri() . '/style.css', array(), null, 'all');

to:

wp_enqueue_style('style', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css', array(), null, 'all');

This will allow the css file to be read from the child theme’s css file instead of the parent.

if you find that your sidebar glitches out and goes to the BOTTOM of the page when you break a long page/post up with the “new page” function…

the errant </div> tag is in the content-page.php file

remove this —></div><!-- .entry-content --> and all will be right with the world.

so i LOVE this theme… but for some reason it’s pulling the css into my admin dashboard… which is completely messing with my rhythm.

i expect its something i did when creating a child theme… so hoping you can give me just a little direction on how to do that better with your sub-directory css files…

To start off with I think the theme is fantastic.

I have the posts page currently set up on the homepage to my site. I have been trying to get them to appear as summaries rather than full posts. Firstly so users can click through, and interact with the site.

Secondly, is there a way that the post can be put in numbered order? Otherwise my homepage just becomes insanely long.
