Some words, icons, and links are being turned into squares, this is a new website, so this is the first template installed. When logged in, the user section also has the same problem and other areas of the website.
]]>I am using 18 tags and my WordPress dashboard says PHP update required but also links to here https://www.cloudlinux.com/hardenedphp-wp so I guess I’m ok.
But when I go to Themes there’s a message on 18tags saying :
This theme doesn’t work with your version of PHP. Learn more about updating PHP.
This resource is provided by your web host, and is specific to your site. For more information, see the official WordPress documentation.
Should I be worried about this?
]]>Trying to add a new post using block editor but content hidden behind Yoast settings box. Works fine if I use Pootle Pagebuilder. Screenshot at link above.
]]>This page looks fine in Page View. However, in Edit mode the blocks overlap severely. The page is made up of 2-column blocks. Each column contains a Media+Text block. This was not a problem originally.
I have tested with all plugins disabled as well as 10Tags theme deactivated in favor of Twenty-Twenty. The problem went away. I activated all plugins. The problem did not reappear. Only when I switched from Twenty-Twenty back to 18Tags did the problem reappear. I am using 18Tags v3.0.1.
As it stands, I can no longer edit this page because of the overlapped content. I really need help!
Thanks, Alan
]]>When inserting images, there is no option in Gutenberg block editor to specify wide or full width images – just L/R/C alignment. This is the case for both image and cover blocks.
I’m using 18 Tags version 2.7.1.1.
Curiously if I use Pootle Pagebuilder I can make them full width, but the image height doesn’t scale properly on mobile screen widths.
]]>Eighteen Tags are breaking menu plugins (like Ubermenu) because of the way you handle the menu. You should fix this bug.
The problem is in the function logo_in_nav where you are parsing everything out with PHP’s SimpleXML and then re-rendering it. Looks like you are making some bad assumptions as to what the $items object is going to look like.
BTW: SimpleXMLElement is throwing lots of warnings…
]]>Looking at trac and the readme.txt file. The changelog only shows up to version 2.5.0. Please let me know when its been updated with changelog for 2.6.0. ??
]]>Hi there,
I don’t know if I’ve missed something obvious but I’m struggling to change the height of the footer in the eighteen tags theme – it’s far too big. It’s not in the Customise options, and I’ve tried various bits of CSS with no luck. There’s a section in the Customise options to add custom CSS so I assume I’m putting it in the right place?
Theme and WP version both up to date, the site is https://tayntonparishcouncil.org.uk
Many thanks for your help!
Emily
We are using the features images function for our posts (blog articles) but we haven’t found a way how to make them smaller once you view the posts on desktop / PC. See also https://hr-software-consulting.ch/personal-swiss/
Where can we influence the size of the featured image for desktop / PC view?
On Mobile phones it looks quite good.
Best regards,
HRSoCo
I have a number of websites that use 18tags free version 1.0.3.1 – when I upgrade by clicking the link in WP dashboard to download v 1.0.8 from www.ads-software.com and then activate the new version, I lose all my settings.
What is the correct process to follow to ensure I retain my settings?
]]>I crafted a website on my local host in Eighteen tags them.
Transferred to GoDaddy host cpanel
I can customize widgets and menus but anything else gives an error involving “wp-admin/customize.php”
Switched to 4 other themes and customization works great.
Deleted the theme through file manager and went and re downloaded in themes and still same problem.
Any ideas??
