I am using this theme to show my clients what it can be done and they (and I) love it. In fact, I have createda an image header with these words (in spanish) for the site:

Style and functionality

If a provider of PRO themes cuts of even standard functions like “wp_excerpt” just to increase the sales it ssems not very serious to me.
Thats why i stopped using the theme and switched to another one

A very well designed theme which just works. Compared to many other responsive themes I’ve tried (especially the top on the “popular” list, in the theme browser), this one is perfect for a working environment, without too much effort my side.
Great work, dev, and keep working on it – it’s one of the best themes for WordPress!

Emphasize is a really elegant, simple theme with a variety of options and sensible customizing controls. Reformats nicely for smaller screens. The site I’ve chosen this theme for is a newbie WordPress user, so having a straightforward, intuitive theme will make the learning process very quick for him.
