]]>I’m trying to add a header image to my page.
I have sized it to exactly 1000×250 as instructed
When I add it to the page the image is cut off and the text overtypes it.
If I remove the header text the image is almost hidden completely.
With only the header text it wraps the text unexpectedly at about 1/4 of the header width.
Im having a hard time figuring out how to make this header look at least half decent. Any ideas where I’m going wrong?
I don’t have a side menu, only a top menu.
Im not using the sliders thing or anything fancy. I’ll do that later once I’m happy with the general functionality of the site.
I have also created an icon/logo and it is only displayed as I tiny image on the browser tab where I’d expect the fav.icon to go.
I’m using the current free version of Enigma Parallax (7.4)

I want to turn off the breadcrumbs feature which I assume it created by my use of the Enigma Parralex Theme. I have no other plug-in that would add breadcrumbs. Is there a setting for this or do I need to create a child theme and modify the code?

WordPress 5.5.3 running Enigma Parallax theme.
Enigma Parallax Version: 5.0
I need to replace the code in the header to remove the “https://” in phone and email, but can’t active a child theme without loosing the Enigma options. I tried creating a child theme manually and using the Child plugin (both enqueue and import options failed).
Please advise how to create a child theme.

some months ago my site broke when updating free enigma, so I searched out your instructions and you advised to install Enigma Parallax theme and the site seemed to get working again, I got my home page content and sliders back.
However I was trying to just now update Enigma parallax 2.19 to version 5, and it doesnt work. This time its far worse.
I have had to roll back and restore the site to two days ago, so you wont be able to see the error, because I cant leave it broken, it had no home content; and I dont know how long before you can reply.

I did try to watch your video again on how to install parallax to get the home page content back, but its no longer relevant for version 5. when I updated parallax, I did not get the screen showing instructions to import my home page content, therefore I cannot follow through those instructions.
So basically with the old parallax I have my home page content, but going to 5 everything breaks down totally.

Turns out adding a space between the <?php and the } fixes it…
After pushing files and DB from staging to production is stable for a few hours or overnight…then reverts back to a blank enigma-parallax theme shell with critical wordpress error on the home page. To keep out business from failing we keep republishing and deploying from the staging environment.
Bluehost php version is 7.0
Bluehost error log file in public_html shows same for dozens of timestamps going back days and days:

]]>I realized today that the theme had been updated since blog posts were showing on the home page instead of the “front page”. I attempted to follow the confusing directions in the Appearance menu under Enigma-Parallax to no avail because there is no “Show Front Page” option in customizer.php

]]>I cannot figure out how to do the following things with this theme:
1) how do I globally change the colors for the theme (I don’t mean the background color…. I mean the background and colors for all the Homepage elements, as well as the buttons and fonts.
2) how do I change the size of slider images so they fit within the slider? I have altered my image significantly in size but it does not render any different when I add to the slider
I’m guessing it’s a function of changing the CSS…. assuming you can provide that code, I also wonder whether it’s better to add the CSS within the Custom CSS in the Theme General Options, or, the Simple Custom CSS plugin?

Assuming an upgrade, maybe to WordPress, generated my problem: IF I have both the Home Team options enabled, then it squashes the subsequent section elements pushing off to the right margin of the page. I have temporarily modified layout to place HOME TEAM last in layout. But, if above, it compromises Services or Portfolio. I’m seeing other minor appearance changes in the header area…but can tolerate.
]]>I am using an older version of the theme (3.0.6) because the newer version breaks (they actually stop working) a couple of critical plug-ins I use (Easy Accordion and Popup Maker).
The new theme version provides a sticky header option where the header scrolls up and s smaller / short version is displayed.
Would you have a way for me to add this function?

]]>I updated to the latest theme version and now in the Main menu I see the mobile navigation box in addition to the standard Main menu. If I custom CSS:

Then the box menu does not show on mobile devices.
Any ideas on how to stop the display on the menu box on the desktop?
