After updating exray theme to 1.5 ‘edit CSS’ function doesn’t work.
Menu in ‘Yoast SEO’ doesn’t work either and probably few more things.
After downgrading theme to previous version everything works again fine but when I upgrade again these functions are kind of disabled.
Any ideas?

Hi, Im using Exray for my site and noticed that the order of contents shown on Smartphone is like this.
1st Left Sidebar
2nd Middle(Main space)
3rd Right Sidebar

I put “Categories” on the Left Sidebar, so the Left Sidebar appears before other two on Smartphone, which I dont like.

So could you kindly tell me how to change the order on Smartphone(not on PC).

After upgraded to exray 1.5 – jetpack site stats wont work (keep loading),
yoast seo menu isn’t workink either however seo works itself but menu isn’t.

Any idea how to fix it or how to downgrade to previous version

I’m using Exray Theme. On my website https://www.dorpsboerderijwaspik.nl I use a slider in a post. This slider doen’t appear on the homepage. When I click on the post (Winter) the slider is visible. I want to see the slider on my Homepage. How can I do that?

This is a beautiful theme and I am happy with how it makes my website look.

However, there appears to be an issue in the retrieval of posts under category.

Example: Please check my site website https://www.chaitanyasblog.com , here click on the menu option ‘Works’, then click on menu sub item ‘Tutorials for Oracle applications’. While the first page displays the posts correctly from this category, the remaining posts under this category cannot be accessed.

I just move my site to exray theme and I encounter an issue with the accented letters (é, à, è…) : the font for these letters seems to be different from that of the other letters…
(an exemple in the title of the site : https://www.venarbol.net)

Does anyone know how to resolve this or how to modify the font?

I very much like the Exray theme, and use it on two sites. For some reason, a recent update to WordPress deactivated the “Below Header” widget in the Exray theme on all static pages, and left it only on the blog page. I had developed a site that relies on a slideshow below the header & navigation and above the content on all its pages, and it recently suddenly disappeared. I fixed it on my site by copying this code from the “Main Index Template” to the “Page Template”:

<?php get_sidebar(‘below-header’); ?>
<!– End below header –>

First of all, Thank you for a great theme.
I’ve created a website for my friend,but I have 2 problems.

1.The behavior of the Facebook comments is strange.

Only from PC, the title link that were shared from blog comments by other than the owner were broken.
I’ve checked OGP, SDK, and debug by facebook debugger(code is 200),but links have been still off.

2.When I pasted a tag for Klout score badge, display of site becomes apart.

I think the scripts conflicts may be the cause of these problems.

But, I have no idea for scripts at all,so, I ask how to solve those of 2.

I am trying to use exray with a child theme but it doesn’t seem possible without basically copying all the files over and modifying them.
I want to change the function that opens the main content part get_exray_content_html_opening but if I create it in the child theme it tells me it is already defined, since it isn’t declared with if ( ! function_exists

So the alternative seems to be to create a diferent function with the modifications but this function is called in all the template files ie: index.php, page.php, category.php etc…so basically I might as well just modify the original template.

Anybody has a different suggestion?

HELP! After activating a custom themes, these menu are missing from Appearance:

1. Header
2. Background

My Menu Appearance only consisting of six items: Themes, Customize, Menu, Widgets, Theme option and Editor.

How to restore the missing items ?

I am using and liking Exray Theme for my site rambansal.in but I am facing a problem in display of the top banner ad, though I have uploaded an image with a link url. Please guide me where I have gone wrong.

Help! I love exray,it is perfect. however I attempted to fine-tune a plugin by modifying the functions.php file. this immediately broke the site and now I cannot access the code to change it back. the hosting company (wpengine) told me to use ftp to download the funtions.php to folder, then modify if from there, then re-send it using ftp.

that is a great idea, however, I cannot find the functions.php file under the exray theme on the hosting server. Can someone tell me how to get out of this mess? I need to change the functions.php file back to the way it was….where is this file located in the folders on the server….

I am using child theme
In order to display post thumbnails for “action” custom post type, I added add_theme_support() function into functions.php in exray-child folder, but there is no way I can make it work
The only way that works is to add “action” custom post type in existing add_theme_support() in exray/functions.php
I wish I could keep exray folder clean, could you help please ?

I just updated to the Exray theme. It looks really nice. But for reason the comments are closed. I tried different things suggested on wordpress support. It didn’t help. Could it be something in the theme?

Theme is all broken up in IE Browser looks like a junk html page ughhh

Updated and front page post will not truncate all post are full summary all settings are set to truncate and saved after update did not help.

The post have a small thumb then right below it full size picture also.

Having issues embedding videos from news sites as well with <script> embed code

Videos from trutube.tv will not embed use code <embed src=”https://trutube.tv/

Ok this theme is perfect just found one horrible flaw there is no next page on any Page or archive categories it only list 20 entries that is all what is causing this and what is the fix ASAP please
