I’m using a slider on the main page of my site using tKidd theme (very slightly modified). The text on two of the three images is identical except for a few words.

The issue is that on the second image WP escapes the quotation marks that surround attributes in the text. This of course breaks the links. It doesn’t do this for the text of the first image.

Here’s the slightly modified text for the second image. The escaping backslashed are added by WP. I’ve tried repeatedly to enter the text without them. No luck.

The theme has a conflict with form maker plugin, can you fix it, guys?

The theme preview seems to show a main page without the comment section at the bottom. How can I replicate that? I’d rather have my front page not allow comments.

The box-shadows in the style css create unwanted shadows in leaflet maps. I got around this by adding the following to the style.css, but is there a better way?

Hey.
I was wondering if there was a way to remove the image slider on the home page without buying the theme. I don’t want to have to buy the theme and start from scratch. But I need an image slider that has more than 3 post options. So can someone please give me advice on either removing the slider or adding multiple post options.
