Different tools for website analysis reported that Foodica is not using H1 tag.

I am working on setting up a food blog and want to display all the posts from one category on a page. (a page for breakfast recipes, a page for dinner recipes, etc) I am trying to use the Latest Posts block. Everything works fine, but when I click update, I get an error message “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”

I have tried everything on every blog post about how to fix this issue to no avail. I did notice that the site updates fine when I do not choose a specific category, and leave the category section blank. It is only when I choose a category and try to update it, I get that error message. So I was wondering if this is a problem with the theme? or is there something else I can try to fix this issue? (I have already tried changing/saving permalinks, deleting .htaccess file, checked the urls and mixed content)

I had my 3rd post go live this morning and the comment box isn’t there. It is on my first 2 posts though.
On the discussion settings “Allow people to submit comments on posts” is ticked.
Allow comments is ticked on the post.
I disabled all the plugins that I installed between my post 1 week ago and now.
The comment box will not appear.
But it’s still on my first 2 posts.

I really like the prevenext feature. However, when you arrive at first post, since theres no previous post, nothing shows (looks like an error)

Can you please provide us with an extended php code (content-single.php via Theme editor) that will show/link the latest post (as previous post) as to create an infinite loop?

Hi,

ahrefs points out that some of my pages have 2 H1 headings. 1 H1 is the website title and the other H1 tag is the article title. I’ve also manually checked this with Inspect / F12 and it is true that the ahrefs flagged articles have these 2 H1 tags.

I think the normal thing is to have the article title as the H1 tag and not the website. So, how can I remove the website title from coming up as H1?

I’m using the Foodica theme.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the paid Foodica theme. Am seeing that the videos on all of my blog posts flag two errors in Google Search Console.

The errors are “Missing field “description”” and “Missing field “thumbnailUrl””.

Trying to keep my posts tidy and would like to remove the Twitter Sharing button (“TWEET”) from the top of my posts. I want to display only the Facebook Sharing button (“SHARE”). It seems that the two are linked when I look at the WPZOOM Single Post Options menu? Is there an easy way that I’m overlooking?

I’m using the free version of Foodica on my LAN server as some kind of cook book (that’s why the premium theme makes not yet sense for me).
Now, I added my first receipts and want the following:

On the right side of an article, I can select an article photo (“Beitragsbild” in german) which is on the hand shown on the start page (which is good) but also in the article (which I don’t like).

Is there a possibility to only show the content of the Foodica card in the receipt but to select a photo per receipt that is used for the “teaser” on the start page?

Sorry, if I don’t use the right terms, I’m quite new at wordpress and perhaps/probably that’s the reason I didn’t find a solution in the net.

Can I add recipes to my recipe index page without making a blog post for each recipe? If I want to add 10 recipes to the recipe index page, and theyre already created as a recipe index card, can I just add it to the page without having it’s own blog post? And if so how do I go about doing that? Sorry for the newbie question. I know blog posts with recipes automatically get added to the index recipe page but I don’t want to have to write a post for each recipe if possible.

I’m having an issue where the recipe imagine will not display in the recipe index page of my website. The image displays everywhere else, including the initial post (and on the homepage when the post was made). It also displays correctly in the recipe card I created. But, for some reason it’s not displaying in the recipe index where the category and title of the dish is displayed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello. I want my homepage and my categorie/tag pages to have different numbers of posts per page.

It seems that since the last theme update, the product lists within category pages is displaying incorrectly, they are not evenly separated.

I am unsure how to correct this, please help!

hi, I need some help regarding my site.
a few days ago I migrated my site from hostinger to google cloud but after the migration, my font awesome icons stopped working. even if if install new plugins that use font awesome icons they don’t work. I tried installing the font awesome plugin which didn’t help. so is there any way I can fix this like editing the theme code or something?

I’ve recently installed an Instagram widget on my free Foodica theme website.
The widget only pulls out my Instagram images and not my reels or videos (even if I shared these on my feed) – is there a way to display my feed exactly how it looks on Instagram (in other words, including all images, reels, and videos)?

Is there an alternative widget that you know of that is able to display the entire feed?

On all of my categories pages, I’ve set them up to have recent posts. They all have weird periods above the pictures and I don’t know how to get rid of them. Any help would be very much appreciated!

At the bottom of each post there is a banner with my username and a banner showing other recipes and arrows.

1. Is there a way to delete the banner with my user name
2. I’d like to keep the banner with the recipes & arrows however if I click on the arrows nothing happens, is there a way to fix this?

I have downloaded the Foodica theme that include 4 footer columns at the bottom.
Nevertheless, I cannot cancel any of those columns no matter if I put no widget on it.

Is there a way to cancel those 4 columns? It appears to be a theme setting so I can’t find a code to change this. I would like to replace this with an instagram feed in landscape format.

I’ve seen the same question was asked a year ago but there was no reply.

I rearranged the menu item blocks and now the names of the menus that sit below the header are missing. All there is is the word “menu” with three stripes that you can clck on, permitted the different menus to drop down. How should the menu items look so that I can again see the separate names/links for each menu, as in the demo?

It seems all my thumbnail images on these pages are different sizes? Is there a way to make them all the same without having to crop all images to the exact same size? For example do I need all the images to be above a certain size (like 640×900 or some real pair of numbers)? I want them all to be the same but didn’t know if I was going to have to crop them all to the exact same measurements because sometimes that messes up the image after compressing.

I’m new to WordPress and I am currently setting up a food blog with recipes.

Is there a way of linking to another recipe in the ingredients list? Like for instance, I have a recipe for spring rolls that contains pickled carrots. I also have a another recipe for pickled carrots. I want to be able to click on pickled carrots and then jump to that recipe from the ingredients list, but I can’t seem to figure out how.

I’m using both foodica and the premium recipe card by wooziness. In the theme settings for foodica it recommends turning structured data off if you are using a recipe card already. Should I have structured data turned off even if I’m using the wpzoom card or were they designed to work together regardless?
