Hello! I am working on a blog that I get access to from my university. I cannot upgrade to pro, and I don’t have access to certain plugin, so I’m using custom css to customize the pages.

My issue: The hyperlinks and taglines are under the same code, so when I change the white, virtually invisible links to blue, it also changes the tagline to blue, making it unreadable on my header image. And vice versa.

Steps I’ve taken: Added code to overwrite this by making all weblinks blue, but it only shows up in Inspect mode & it changes my sites main heading to blue, making it unreadable.

What code can I use to separate these two and make it appear outside of Inspect?

Dear All,
I would like to add two category pages (News and Seminars), but with different header images. When creating a category page, the header image is automatically set to be the default one (that appears on the homepage). Is it possible to somehow change that?

Hi there,
The header size Additional CSS works great, but it doesn’t adjust the size of the header overlay or opacity in line with this. How can I change this?
Also, the site title doesn’t shift in line with the smaller header, can you suggest additional CSS to change this position (or make it responsive to header height).

Hello, I’d like to auto scroll down on the 404 page. The 404 template uses “get_header” and it looks like auto scroll might be contained there? Hello – I’d like to have some help. I can’t figure out how to set up my home page with a single image where users can’t scroll down to see any content. i’m new to use wordpress and also i dont really understand php, so in this case i want to remove social media icon in header, i already use inspect elemen and i try to delete <div class=”socialLine”> and its work, the social media button disappear. so i try to edit header.php via ftp and once again i try to delete <div class=”socialLine”>, but there is no change happen, so i try to delete <div class=”site-social”> anddd the template header crashed when i reload my website…

Hi, thanks for this theme. I’ve been trying to modify the height of the header image but not having any luck.

The inspector is saying there is an inline height property and somehow it’s making a css element
element {
background: transparent url(“https://path/image&#8221;) repeat scroll 0% 0%;
height: 862px;
}

(when i change the 862px in the inspector it is in fact changing the height but can’t find where to do it for permanent).

in the code of header.php i only see:

header id=”masthead” class=”site-header” role=”banner” style=”background: url(<?php header_image(); ?>) 50% 50% / cover no-repeat;

I thought maybe it was related to the actual size of the image but even modifying the image height is not working. Can you please help?

I’m running the latest version of Fortunato and have WP 4.8 installed. I just started using this and have the home page set to display blog posts. I see the excerpt but it’s not showing any featured image. How do I get the featured image to show up?

Hi, I’ve embedded you tube videos on my site and it appears to be fine if I view them on Desktop PC as per the screenshot below. It just looks nice when someone plays it.

However, on mobile site, the video height seems to tall and there is padding/black area at the top and bottom of the video. See the mobile screenshot below. Is there any custom css code to fix this / remove the top&bottom padding?

Whilst the font size for my articles looks fine on Desktop PC, it looks kind of small on a mobile screen. Is there any CSS code that I can use for mobile screen to make it little bigger?

First of, lovely theme, I liked it but I have an issue here. It seems my background image/header is being overlayed or tinted. I’ve disabled the overlay setting but the image still appears to be the darker than the original ones. How can I ensure the header shows the original image colour? See the attached images below.

Could you give me advice how to get only header in my page? Maybe it is trifling question, but I cannot figure it out ??

I’m a beginner to WordPress, so I really didn’t know how I changed things around. I tried to edit the menu on my page and it turned it into a pulldown menu that sits at the very top of the page. Also, the header image is now “squished” at the top of the page. I would like the regular menu hyperlinks I had previously with this theme and as well as fix the header image. Any ideas?

I have bought the pro version, and have license key…
But there is no where to add the license key? Not under appearance…. not anywhere…
How do I activate the pro version? For other themes this is very easy, but I can not enter the license key anywhere for the fortunato theme……….

Hi! I’m running an intranet portal for a range of users who have and others don’t have Internet access.

The ones with WAN connection obviously fetch every asset from the web, and display it fine.
The others without proxy, just can’t get the remote fonts, js, and styles from the web.

I understand the path for the enqueue files and styles runs from the “functions.php” of the theme, but is there any way for this content to copy, store and run from my local server?
Are there any other files and paths to have in mind for this to be done?

Using Fortunato Pro – I have a youtube vid showing as header image, the clip is 5 seconds long. I want the clip to play to end (not loop) then remain in place showing end frame of vid.

Fortunato seems to truncate the vid then remove it showing grey blank panel?

Also can I control the size and font of the ‘site title’ if I don’t want to use a custom logo?
