Hi guys, I’ve been doing a lot of editing with the templates but I just cant figure out where the stats for the font size on the category pages is set. It bothers me that I have a different font size on the home and the static pages in comparison to the category pages. i.e here: https://www.pizzaspotz.com/category/pizza-lists/

I’ve looked the style.css up and down but I’m no expert. I just want it the same normale font size on every page of the blog

I like the sidebar but I don’t like that you have to have the same info on every page. Is there an easy way to have a sidebar that can be custom based on the page you are on?

For example, on our home page I’d like the company timeline but on our employment page I’d want a picture of our building.

Excellent theme! I love the look of it, and after hours of searching, it was exactly the WordPress theme I was looking for. Nice job!

I love the look of the search bar in the header, but unfortunately I have to remove it as I need to place a banner ad in the header space. However, I would prefer to keep the same exact look of the search bar, and simply move in down to the navigation menu instead.

I can easily remove the search from the header by removing the <?php get_search_form(); ?> from the header.php file, but I was hoping I could simply drop it back into the code at the right spot to translate it into the navigation menu. I love the look and css code behind the search bar, I would much rather keep it than elect to use a silly plugin to get a basic (and ugly) looking search bar in the Nav menu.

Can you please help me figure out a good way to do this?

I’m using version 1.4.2 of Frantic and noticed that links within summaries on the front page don’t always show.

My web site can be found at https://www.fokmcast.com. It’s NSFW in language but should be OK otherwise.

An example of this problem can be found by comparing the article here:

to its summary on the front page on the main site. Notice how Humble Bundle is not linked in the summary text.

I also use an Amazon referral plug-in, and if it’s used in the summary the link and its corresponding text disappear.

See https://www.fokmcast.com/2013/09/20/saving-sarah-silverman/ and compare it to the front page (note that the text linking to the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco is removed from the summary on the main page).

I’m using 1.4.2 of Frantic and notice that when I type anything into the search bar in the upper right corner it causes an automatic refresh, and the search does not work.

I’m trying to place default text in the search box.

Typically this could be done by going to searchform.php and editing code there (I think). But there is no such file here.

Where could I find someplace to enter default text? I’ve looked in the header and in the stylesheet.

I have added a few blog post yesterday and the thumbnail image does not show for this theme. I have added older blog posts and it has worked and the thumbnail images are displaying.

How can I fix this issue, with this theme?

Anyone know the best way to change the headline font in the Frantic theme? There are no options for it. And the H1, H2, etc. settings in the Google Fonts plugin won’t do the trick. Is there specific code I should be looking for somewhere?

I just noticed a problem with my site (https://pizzaspotz.com) in IE 8. It looks like the red background image and the striped gray image background are not loading in IE 8, some pictures sometimes do not load either. Firefox seemed to be having a hard time loading the background also. Nothing wrong in Chrome.

I’ve unpublished about a month of posts and same problem existed. I also deactivated plugins I have added in the last month or so. Still no fix. The following seems to be a problem IE 8 has, but I don’t know what it means. I found this using F12.

When I hover over the error, I see that it is coming from this area in the theme files:

I know there isn’t a built in theme option to do so, but is there a way to not use a title at all, like leaving the Site title blank in general settings and inserting a jpg in the header php to use as a logo. I’ve tried this in the past and I remember it not lining up correctly or messing up IE8.

Is there a simple way to do that to make sure the logo img would go exactly where the site title is now?

On this page I would like to change the color of the category name, the words: “Posts Categorized: Blog” and in the sidebar the words, “Let’s Talk Pizza” and Play Pizza Games,” etc.

I would like to make the colors black.

Is there some custom CSS for this? I’m not using a child theme yet, but have an option for custom CSS in the theme.

I am looking to make an absolutely totally blank full-width template, no background, no text, nothing.

I have created a template that still has background color and header section.

I would like to have the background on this new template deleted. And I would like to know how to insert a new background img or color for just this one page.

I would like to change the size of the thumbnails that show up on my category pages. I thought i found some code to change in archives.php but it didn’t work. If there is custom CSS that could do that for me, that’d be great.
