I use the Giornalismo theme. It is possible to create one more column with articles in Home post area? I would like that in Home post area to display 4 columns with articles grouped by category and 1 sidebar. The picture of the articles is not taken over by facebook when I want to share the link, to post on the facebook an article link which is on the site.

I am using a child theme. I went to modify the Author byline and noticed that the twitter handle is supposed to show in the byline. this has never worked for me.

Also, I want to modify the byline to look like this:

Written by Luis Izquierdo, (User Role), (Twitter Handle)
Published: (Date & Time)

I already have it to show like this:

Written by Luis Izquierdo,
Published: March 5, 2017 at 3:49 pm

But i need to add the user role and get the twitter handle working.

Is there a custom CSS snippet I can use to hide the authorbox on single posts?

I am using a child theme for giornalismo.

I am wanting to change the width of the page and have it so that the sidebars are 300px wide and be able to use both sidebars and still have all three columns show.

How can I do this?

Is there a way to have the time a post was published show in the post meta data next to the byline and date?

If you scroll down, you can see that after the 2nd article, all of the articles take up half the space they should and only stay on the left. How do I make the empty half get filled by articles?

First, I want to say that I LOVE this theme. I have gone through several themes and this one its the most beautiful, clean theme that fits PERFECTLY for my news blog.

During some setup and testing, i came across a few issues and also, a couple of requests.

1. About Author Avatar.
Is there a way to set the author avatar that shows up in posts at the bottom? I have my gravatar set up with a photo but it is not pulling it in.

2. Staff Page.
I had email you about this, but decided i should include it here so that others may see the progress and check for solutions. When using the Staff template, it shows ALL registered users, including subscribers. Is it possible to have a setting to filter which user roles you want to display and make custom user roles without the need for an additional plugin? I currently use the roles: Publisher (admin), Editor, Author, Contributor, Photographer (custom role giving permissions to upload photos and change image names, alt text, captions, etc.

3. Mobile nav menu not working.
the nav menu bar is not working on mobile devices. Tested on Android Kit Kat, Android Marshmellow phones using chrome. Tested on Android Tablet using chrome, Will soon test on iPhone as well and other browsers in android.

4. Youtube link not showing on single or main front page post.
I posted my first article including the Youtube embed link. It showed an empty white space where the video should be. I ended up using a featured image then embedding the video into the post, however, would really like to figure out the youtube video feature. I tried the following:

using the embed link: https://www.youtube.com/embed/_mUODqqN3L8
using the embed link without the secure https: https://www.youtube.com/embed/_mUODqqN3L8
Setting a featured image and also using the embed link.
clearing WordPress cache using WP Super Cache
after all that, was still unable to get results.

LOVING this theme! It’s exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!

The only issue I have with this theme is on mobile, the menu stays open and won’t close on certain pages. I’ve noticed this on the homepage and on archive pages. Single posts are fine. Even clicking the menu button has no effect on the visibility of the menu.

I’ve tried on several different phones and browsers, and the result is the same. This is a problem because it distracts from the content. Is this a known issue and is there a way to fix this? Please let me know.

Thank you for the new version of the theme Giornalismo (1.2). Unfortunately, I found some errors. I would be grateful for help in their removal.

1. The current date is incorrect in different columns
2. In the second column is unnecessary line above the button Continue reading (you can see it on the demo site).

On my French website (marie-javelle.fr), I have a couple of issues with Giornalismo, which is a great theme, by the way :
1) I cannot get the dates right (the French way) on the home page. I fixed the format (to the French date format) in the articles, but when they show up in the home page, they still appear in a foreign (for my French readers) format. Where and how do I fix this ?

2) For some reason, the name of the author is stuck to the “Ecrit par” (“written by”) both on the home page and in the articles. How do I fiw this or, better, how do I get rid of this display ?

3 and last) I chose not to deal with comments. Hence, the articles on the front page are mentioning either “O commentaire” or “commentaire désactivés”. How do I get rid of this display ?

Beautiful theme. Feature request: the ability to choose array of categories to appear in col 1, 2, and 3.

I would like to change three defaults, please:
1. Change the menu bar color to another color, and the menu text color
2. Have the choice of removing the author’s name and date from posts
3. Change the text color of hyperlinks
Could you please explain how to make these changes?

Getting a grey block with and an e-mail link and w/text saying “about organic beauty” (THE NAME OF MY SITE) on the bottom of all posts and cannot get rid of it. Can anyone assist?
