I’ve had the Enigma and then Green Enigma on my website for a few years. Recently, when I updated the theme from within my Wp themes admin, the homepage functions (slider, icons, etc.) all vanished from my website and from the Customize interface.
Okay, I figured, the company has removed those functions to get people to buy the premium version of the theme. Kinda cheezy, but I went ahead and bought the premium version. However, something went haywire, for I was told that I still had to buy a separate license. I went ahead and paid the $11, which felt odd because normally a license is included with any premium theme purchase.
However, the premium theme opened as blue. I want the green version because my site deals with ecology. I contacted Weblizer support. A person named “Hari” gave me instructions on how to change the color, but that input interface was nowhere to be found. I contacted Hari again. He wrote back that I had to renew the theme license. So, I paid another $11 for license renewal.
I then went to input the license key in the Wp admin page, and it told me the license key was “Not Found.” I logged into Weblizar, found two sets of license keys under my account, because I had paid twice. However, NONE of these license keys were accepted by the theme.
I again contacted Hari at Weblizer support. We went back and forth daily for about a week. He kept asking me again and again to renew the license. I kept repeating that I had already paid twice, and none of the license keys were recognized. After several days, he finally emailed me a license key, and this failed, too.
Meanwhile, Hari kept asking me to give him my admin login so he could install and activate the theme. I kept telling him that I am unwilling to give my private login to any stranger, sorry, but he kept on asking, as if I had not told him otherwise.
When I asked him to escalate the matter to a senior support supervisor. He wrote back with one word, “what?” Frustrated, I yelled at him in ALL CAPS to refer the issue to his boss. He wrote back to say “I’m the boss,” and then again asked me to renew the license and give him login access.
I’m fed up. I’m giving up. I’m unsure if Weblizer is incompetent or dishonest, but I feel ripped-off. I’m filing a complaint with Paypal for a refund (just on principle), and I’m posting this negative review here.
I still like the theme, and I may try to code-tweak the color to green before I give up on it and go to a different theme altogether. but I now distrust the Weblizer company. I advise you to look elsewhere if you want a premium theme. Save your money and spare yourself the grief.

We had issues getting our logo to display on the homepage. A quick message to Weblizar and they sorted it out for us in no time at all. Brilliant customer service.

I have just started using th theme and find it easy to navigate and use as an amateur.

How badly can you go from a good theme to a bad theme? You add a “snow” feature that can NOT be turned off. The dumbest move anyone can do to shoot your credibility.

permanent notification to rate the theme is worse

the only annoying thing is that, I am having to do this review.

This is an excellent theme. One of the best free themes I have used in a long time. I will upgrade to the premium theme in the future.

The theme itself is great, full of features, works well and looks good. I’m grateful that it’s free, the development work is much appreciated.
However, I don’t understand why it’s suddenly called “Greenigma” – I’m using my own child theme based on Enigma but this name change happened recently.
Also, it has a long load time with the demo images on the homepage – have yet to try using a smaller file size for the images to see if it still looks good with the theme and loads more quickly.
It would be helpful if, once the theme has been reviewed, the notification in the Dashboard asking for it to be reviewed would disappear, or there was an option to dismiss it.

The banners to review these themes are really annoying, they take up half the page!

I agree with the others who have commented. I do not understand the name change – made me think there was a security issue. Also do not appreciate being forced to see the rating request when I have already rated this theme once before. And no way to remove that option now. You’re going to see more posts like this… just fix it.

Well i decided to give you 1 star for your bad attitude of FORCING us to RATE your theme (without letting us to close that notification at all!)
