so this happens only on my S8 phone – a couple of WP updates ago this was fine, now the title of my site doesn’t look good and goes on 3 lines.
Funny thing is that i tested in dev mode a few other devices and they look all fine in 2 lines, is just the s8 that looks weird… i don’t think screen is THAT smaller but still, what changed?
Adjusting the viewport if i just go a tiny wider, then it goes on 2 lines… i noticed it changes at 367 pixels wide while the s8 is 360
Why it didn’t happen 3 months ago with the old WP before an upgrade?
haven’t touched themes or anything. just WP updates.

I purchased Gridsby Pro, for the sole purpose of obtaining contact and direct support. I have yet to hear back from anyone, after multiple tries at contact.
I purchased the Pro version of Gridsby, and then installed Gridsby Pro on a staging version of my website. Once installed, the contents of my Home page have disappeared.
The Home page should be the contents from my Gallery page, but no matter what I do I can’t get my Gallery page to appear on the main page.
Additionally, the litebox effect of Gridsby free (and Pro presumably, if I could get it to work) does not work on mobile devices. Any support regarding this issue would be appreciated as well.

I was using Gridsby free for a long while and recently bought Pro
One of the reasons I bought Pro is because of the following issue that has recently occurred.
The masonry post gallery thing, I have set it to paginate and the buttons for the next page don’t actually do anything. The url changes but the images stay the same as on the initial page 1.
I have already disabled all plugins, checked chrome console as well as debug log and cannot figure out what is wrong.

I want my content on the About me, blog etc. to be outlined in the middle of my website with even parts of white on the sides in stead of the content beging glued to the left. I already disabled all the widgets in the sidebar area but this does not solve my probleem, the white right part is still bigger. Does anyone know you I can make my content look centered?

I purchased the pro version and dealing now with a problem. Blog posts are for me the best way how to present my work with more pictures in one thread, but the theme is coded to show just 3 blog per page.
I found the place in code, where i can set the number higher, but than its not separating next row from the first one. can you please advise me, which code should i insert to solve my problem?

I would like to remove the spacing at the top before the title of my site, as it’s taking way too much space on mobile especially.
I tried already #main { padding-top: 0; }
additionally if anyone knows a hack to display smaller fonts on mobile only that would be great as well, it seems as though this theme doesn’t have fancy options fior that.

there’s a problem with this theme, moderntheme free version, at the bottom where it shows Posts and Tags, the text looks stacked, without me amending the .php files of the theme, which I can do, is it possible to have the fix applied at a theme level so next time it updates it’s there?

Hello, I just created a small page based on gridsby theme. The site looks very good, but on the phone (when the photos are stacked one after the other) the photos overlap or have a very large distance from each other. This problem does not occur when I try to simulate a mobile view through a browser or wordpress.
What could be causing this problem?

The Read more link on Home doesn’t work, so I’ve disabled it, but we have a lot of posts we’d like people to see. It went straight to a post instead of to the next page of post excerpts.
But the main thing is that on the oil paintings portfolio page, page two doesn’t display as the first page does…it doesn’t even show the featured images. Not good for an artists portfolio website. The blog page looks like this, too, but we would like to see featured images for all posts. How do we get the masonry display on subsequent pages?

i recently downloaded and installed the pro-version of Gridsby. When I activate the theme, i see this error-line written on the top of my website:

Can anyone help me out please? I don’t know what to do in this case, that’s why I’m now back again on the basic-version of that theme.

if I start the Homepage (www.silkeritzert.de) with a desktop computer, the last column is missing and only white space is shown.
How can I rearrange the gallery that it will not be so asymmetric?
The layout in the responsive design with a tablet or mobile phone works very fine.

On the Chrome console there is a connection refused error for a call to https://www.sharebutton.co/fonts/v2/entypo.min.css. This is being generated in the js/share.js file on lines 373-374 but the https://www.sharebutton.co domain has been suspended:

Why does the “View All Photos” button on the start page not load more photos as intended?
Is there a fix? It used to show an extended main gallery on the starting page, now it loads a single image – which is NOT what I want.
Has anyone a solution to this problem? I have found a few other remarks on the non-functioning button, but without any answers…

I have the free version of Gridsby for a personal website https://www.nyc-railroad.com. I was wondering if there is a way I can make the left menu default to open instead of close. I like the layout of the menu and the option to collapse it, but when people go to another page on my site, I want the menu open unless they want to close it themselves.

First of all I would like to congratulate you for creating such an amazing theme as Gridsby. Besides the fine masonry gallery design what makes it stand out for me are the beautiful transition animations when opening an image in the lightbox, and when closing it, with those zooming out, zooming in, and flipping around. I must say I usually do not like transition animations, but these are fantastic. They make it all very fresh and dynamic.
I am building up my new site locally, using MAMP. Yesterday I had finally finished the site, after a full week work. And, to my big surprise, it suddenly began to behave quite erratic, with many images (and its text as well) simply not being displayed in the lightbox. The few images which are still displayed in the lightbox lack the close button, being this way impossible to return to the gallery. I already deleted the theme and installed a new copy of it but this problem remains, and I have no idea how to fix it.
I am using the Free Gridsby version. I was already considering acquiring the Pro Gridsby version so as to have a neat transition animation. (I assume you are well aware that in the free version the animation back from the lihghtbox to the gallery is glitchy: the image distorts vertically when it is about to fit back in the gallery grid, after the gallery zooming-in effect. This does not happen in the pro version. This difference can also be noticed in the Gridsby’s official free and pro demos in Modernthemes.net website).
Still, before I move to the pro version, I would like, and need, to have my free Gridsby working well again.
