Easy to use out of the box, and it looks very professional. Content can easily be presented in an organized fashion. There are limitations, however, which require plug ins that slow down the site. Customization is also difficult. Will consider buying the pro version with hopes the support will be better to help achieve what I need for getting the my site fully functioning.

I’ve worked with a lot of different themes. This one is easy & simple, definitely worth buying the pro version.

It seems that you cannot create child themes from this theme. Tried 2 different plugins to do it. I have used one of of the plugins before with success. I also created on from scratch and uploaded the files via ftp. I have done that for other themes successfully in the past.
In this case no matter how the child is created upon activating the child the site will just continue to load indefinitely and only display a white screen.
Posts for support on www.ads-software.com go unanswered by the theme creator.
Update: Imon provided a workaround, quickly, but a theme should not need special steps to up use a child theme. Updated star rating based on quick response.

The design of this theme is stellar to begin with, but it exceeds expectations once you factor in the bonuses of efficient support communications and free customization of special features.
Hathor Pro comes with multiple page layouts that are user-friendly, use modern design and encourage striking images. Any concerns I have had, Imon has either showed me how to troubleshoot them myself or has offered to customize the feature for me. Now my site both looks and functions great! I definitely recommend this theme.

the link didn’t download right so it couldn’t install. But when I wrote Imon he was right on it. I asked him if something else could be done within the program and he set me with a sample page so I could see how it might look. Very impressed with the support.
I loved the theme and the flexibility. It met the needs of our company. I have never built a website before so I’m finding my way around – it’s all there just keep playing with it. Very user friendly.
