Hi everybody,
I’ve just updated to version 3.2.5 and the theme customizer stopped working, throwing critical error on /wp-admin/customize.php?return=%2Fwp-admin%2F
The website is not broken though.
WordPress version 6.7.1
Hestia (version 3.2.5)
Orbit Fox Companion (version 2.10.40)
PHP version 8.2.15
I’m sure this will be fixed quick.
Thank you for the great theme.
i am paid customer, i can’t login to your web site.

]]>I’m having a problem with the appearance of the background image for the about and ribbon sections on my website. I made it so that the about and ribbon sections are next to each other, so the image on my PC looks normal, the way I want it, like a fixed background. However, when I open my page on my iPhone (Safari), that part doesn’t look right, the image is no longer from one part, but from two.
While googling for solutions, I saw that iOS does not support fixed backgrounds, and in style.css I found the following:
.is-ios .hestia-about,
.is-ios .hestia-ribbon {
background-attachment: scroll;
}.
I have no choice but to ask what I should do to make the background normal for the iPhone as well.
]]>Hi,
first of all: I have little prior knowledge, so I can't even easily create a simple HTML page that contains much more than a few simply embedded images and very modestly formatted text. But I have to maintain a homepage for a club. The only person among us who is more knowledgeable is busy with other things and has even less knowledge of graphics than I do.
Probably a year ago a white space appeared on our home page (“…/home/”). The page-specific content can be scrolled, a header bar (with menus) is always the same and static, and a footer bar is always at the bottom of the movable content. The white area lies above the home page content: after opening, it already covers almost the lower half – and when scrolling, it moves up (faster than the background image) to fill even more of the space between the header and footer.
A helper who is a little more familiar with HTML managed – he cannot explain exactly how – to remove or hide the white interfering area at the beginning of summer. But it's been back for a short time now without anyone having done anything about it.
When you click through the menus and submenus, which are unfortunately not very clear (I don't dare change anything about the apps, plugins or themes because I don't know what has which effect on what and in what way), you'll see the home page (i.e. its moving, filling background image) with a white area that looks like the offending element appeared, and on top of it a pale input request (seemingly disappearing when text content was entered), apparently for a contribution. Our suspicion therefore: this could be the area (in a textless placeholder version) on which the first post text would appear.
Since we don't need blog-like posts, but rather create a separate page for each xlub event and link them via a menu that can be accessed from any of our pages, we looked for a way to make this post (or placeholder) area disappear: except for the chance success I mentioned above that unfortunately cannot be reproduced for us and is only temporary without any result.
I discovered a thread about it in the general questions subforum (but can't exert the solution suggestions without help):
https://de.www.ads-software.com/support/topic/beitraege-auf-der-beitragsseite-ausblenden/#post-164343
Regarding the second option mentioned there (ruling out the problem via function.php): I have no idea what function.php is like, nor where I can find it, and what I would then have to do.
The first suggested possibility is to install the Ultimate Category Excluder: I did exactly this, but I can't find any hint telling me where I might be able to see categories so the one in question could appear under them in order to be hidden (I can't even find the above described discovery again), and even much less can I fancy how and where I might define such a category, if necessary.
Now, a forum moderator explicateed to me that it is the theme I use which determines the output in the frontend – and this theme is Hestia.
Best regards,
Felix

]]>My main goal is to add subtitle to the main title on the webpage. I disabled “”main page sections” because I designed my main page in the main page builder. Unfortunately, it disables the designed title section. I would like to either add sub title to the not formatted header, or just to be able to display the formatted header, but with the main page from the main page builder.
I would insert a screenshots here, but I have trouble sending a picture. It asks me for a link but I don’t have a server to host these pictures like that.

]]>Hi,
in order to further customize our website we just created our own child theme (using the documentation provided by Hestia) but we are facing one issue, that we can’t fix on our own.
The problem is, that the website is displaying the default Hestia header background gradient, even though when opening the Customizer our customized color is selected. (see image below) Any ideas on how that could happen?
]]>Hello — I’m trying to change the main menu bar at the top of the page from white to a color; I’ve added additional CSS code to change the color, but it’s still glitchy.
I’d like to keep the transparent menu bar effect when you load the home page, as in the theme default (the bar changes from transparent over the big header image, to solid white with dark text as you scroll down the page). With my code, it’s a solid color all the time. You can also see, as you scroll, that the far left and right sections (outer container?) of the bar turn white, rather than the yellow background color of the rest of the bar.
Here is the code I’m using:
menu-main {background-color: #bda71c}
.navbar>.container {background-color: #bda71c}
.navbar.navbar-transparent {background-color: #bda71c}
Thank you for any assistance!

I’m currently using Hestia Pro on the site https://www.icsi.org.uk, the theme won’t update however. I get the error message:
“An error occurred while updating Hestia Pro: Download failed. Not Found”.
Would you know why that is please and how I can remedy it?
Kind regards, James

]]>I apologize if this is redundant, but I have been at it for hours, and cannot find a way to correct this issue. I am uploading new featured images to my pages with the Hestia theme. But they keep coming up blurry or oddly centered. The pictures are high quality and 2560 by 1707 px. Also, I am using an image from the same album on the home page, and it comes up clear. I am not sure what is causing this issue in the pages. Here is a link to an example: https://maydayclub.ca/society/
In the past, I have not had this issue as bad as I have it now. For example, on this page, the header image looks fine – but the image is the same size 2560 x 1707. https://maydayclub.ca/elementor-28853/ I made that page a few years ago, and you can see how the image isn’t blurry.

Here is all the additional CSS I am currently using on my site for your reference, but I have tried deleting it all and I am still getting the same issues, so I am confident that the CSS is not the issue here.

]]>Hello,
I setup your theme for my website, which has been affected by an Ad malware on the bottom of my site,
I wish to know how I can remove it from the which CSS page ? how to open this page ?
https://postimg.cc/VrZjZWLj
Thank you very much !
I seem to have a problem with the buttons for calculating shipping/ second line of address on my woocommerce basket and checkout pages.
The button is there, has a hover effect but there is no text (i’m guessing the text is white). I can’t seem to edit these buttons anywhere
The frontpage background picture is always processed by Hestia to darker tone. Is there any possibility how to tell Hestia “do not put backgrond to darker tone” and show the background photo in the original tone?
]]>Hello there,

https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1350-how-to-enable-hestia-mobile-menu-on-larger-screens
Hi,
today I discovered an issue with Hestia mobile menu and the announcer plugin to show a banner on top of the website.
The plugin support has given a CSS to fix the issue but from what I understood the support said
the menu should not stick to the top of the page, it should stick to the bottom of the header
I just want give this to your attention just to ask to see if the mobile menu works as better you can do or you can improve it. The support topic (to read more) can be found here.
Also when the screen is like 958 x 396 that can be reproduced by moving a smartphone in horizontal, is not better show the mobile menu instead of the big top menu? Maybe your CSS code for the mobile menu can be improved. Screenshot:

]]>As you can see, the formatting of the form disappears in the Hestia page. The text boxes are lines instead of boxes. I tried changing to the block editor and setting colour formatting for the fields, as I thought that may solve the problem, but it is not visible when I load the actual webpage.
]]>Hi — I have several sites using Hestia, both free and paid versions. I’d like to change the background color of an entire post — for example, I’d like the general site template to be black text on white bg, but for some photo gallery posts, I want a black background behind the images. What would be the best way to do this? I just need it for a few pages/posts.
