When I try to create or edit a post the Text tab does not work. It is unresponsive when I click it. I am using the latest version of WordPress and Hostmarks. The problem just started when I upgraded to WordPress 4.5.3. It is unresponsive in all browsers. I have disabled all plug-ins.

When I switch to a different theme, the Text tab works. I have found other threads that say it happened on other themes after the upgrade.

I am using Hostmarks on my website, and it works great. When I view it on mobile all I see is the work menu but when I click on it, the rest of the menu does not appear. When I shrink my browser it works, I’m thinking that it is not working with touch.

It seems no matter what CSS conventions I use, I cannot get rid of bullet points when creating dropdown menus. I have also not been able to use CSS to get ride of the arrows (chevrons) displayed in the Expand + Collapse Funk plugin. This is despite the fact that I got the CSS directly from the developer. I cannot help but wonder if this has something to do with the Hostmarks theme.

Full discloser, I’m decent with HTML and CSS, but I do not know PHP.

In numbered lists that extend to double digits, the numbers and parenthesis are overlapping with the text of the list item. Is there a simple way to fix this? See this page:

Hi Mark, first of all thanks for such a great theme!

I am using Alt_Blog template in my home, but I need something different.

I would like to have a home with:
Header (blue rectangle) + Intro (light blue rectangle below header) + Page Content (instead of blog posts). As you can see, Header+Intro I already have, the only difference is that I need some page content below Intro instead of posts listing.

I think a need kind of a new template for this (Alt_Page template)

I am having some trouble creating a child theme for hostmarks. I did everything as directed and it shows up in my themes but is not importing anything from the parent. I checked that the import url is correct and still no go.

I am wondering if I am missing something. Is there anything that needs to be done different then the standard instructions given in the WP codex?

I have now idea where to add these and hatom-feeds
I searched for the_time, the_author in the single.php and the content-single.php and it still is a foreign language…

Hi, I’m trying to find where in the CSS I can adjust how the audio player (using the [audio] tag) displays. When I post an audio link for playback, the formatting of the audio player looks “off”. The control buttons look fine (Play, Pause & Volume) but the font that displays the time is cropped at the bottom. You can see an example at theretroguy.com/category/the-wild-swans/

I’ve tried different themes and I’m not experiencing this issue, so I’m guessing it’s an issue with the Hostmarks theme itself. Any ideas please? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’m loving this theme but cant get the main page to do something. If you use the theme as suggested you create a page and give it the alt_blog_template

The page title would be Welcome to Hostmarks!

This works fine on my site but the blue area this sits in is too big and I wanted to make it narrower, also the widgets I have told to show do not show on this front page but do on every other page, instead of my widgets the ones that do show are: Categories, Latest Posts and Archives.

I edited footer php ,i managed to place a policy page link in there
