We developed a site a few years ago using the Hotel Melbourne theme. All has been fine. We make a few updates once or twice a year. Our last update was last summer, 2021. A few updates are now needed, but it seems that, within the WordPress admin, the Theme Customizer is now virtually blank. Nothing shows up in the right-hand main panel and the left-hand panel only shows “Widgets”, rather than all of the other expected customization options; i.e., Theme Options Settings, Menus, Theme Layout Manager, Header Image, etc. I have no idea what is going on, as the site itself hasn’t been touched, but am wondering if an auto-update to a 5.9x WordPress version has somehow caused this? In any event, we appear to be unable to update anything on the home page in any way, as all of that capability seems to have disappeared! I have also tried creating a new page for the home page and designating that as the static home page within WordPress settings > Reading, but that does not seem to work, either. If there is any insight someone might provide, as to why the ability to make changes to our Hotel Melbourne theme has now disappeared within the Theme Customizer of our WordPress admin, I would so very much appreciate it.
