After update to WordPress v6.7 theme “Cuztomize” settings stopped working

Immediately after updating to the latest wordpress v6.7, the theme settings(Cuztomize) do not work. Right before the update, everything worked and was used many times.

I tried to disable plugins
I cleaned the cache.
Theme settings are really broken by WordPress version 6.7
Please can you give a fix?

hey there,

in previous versionsof the the theme I was able to edit the file post-grid-module-tmpl.php to add some additional code (in my case I added some post views).

The new version of hueman doesn’t include the post-grid-module-tmpl.php anymore. Where can I add code after the date, author, comments section in the grid part of my home page/start page of the blog?

I created a page to be assigned as the “posts page” or “blog page” (there are no posts yet, but that will soon change). I wrote “The Road We’re On…” as the title of the page, but the only place it appears is in the browser tab; the page itself says “Abide Osaka News”. “Abide Osaka” is the name of the site, but I have no idea where the word “News” is coming from. The site is running WordPress 6.6.2 and a child theme of Hueman Pro 1.4.27. I don’t know if it’s a WordPress setting or a Hueman setting, but I can’t find anything about page titles on the edit page, in the Customizer, or in the Settings.

When trying to use buddypress / youzify with hueman theme, everything’s works except for the two lateral columns, which are still here but are empty (the place where they should be appears empty).

Has anyone already had this issue and do you know how I could resolve this problem?

Hi,
on my site everything with the Hueman theme works fine – exept the display of a menu.
On screens with the aforementioned widths no menu at all is displayed. Smaller screens show the mobile menu and bigger screens show the desktop header menu.
I couldn’t find an option to define a breakpoint between the display of a mobile or a desktop menu.
What can I do to have a menu on such screens?

Column layout not applied to blog page

Hi, I am working locally using XAMPP so can’t provide a link.

My Global layout is single column but I want my main “Posts Page” and individual post pages to have a single sidebar to the right with the post categories etc in it. I can achieve this for the individual post pages using “Columns layout for : Single” or specifying a column layout per page.

However, there is no option in “Column layout for the main content” for specifying the main “Posts Page” layout, and specifying a layout for the individual page has no effect. It uses the Global Layout whatever layout is specified in the page. This issue seems to be restricted to the “Posts Page”

(For clarity I have a static home page and have specified a page called “What’s New” as my “Posts Page” in WP setting > Reading)

I have also tested this on a live site using this theme and the same behaviour occurs.

Any ideas why or how I can force it to show what I want please?

I��m trying to get the plugin Fixed Widget and Sticky Elements for WordPress to stick an adsense ad to my right-hand column in Hueman. The sticky ad function in Hueman wasn��t appropriate for my purposes so I went to the plugin above. Unfortunately, the widget won��t stick. Has this been a problem in Hueman? I didn��t see any previous topics in this forum on it.

I just want to hide the categories list that comes with each of my posts from the front page, as some of my post have so many categories linked to and I think this is not good for the viewer experience.

I’ve searched on the internet and tryed to edit my styles.css and my functions.php (child theme), but without success.

I’ve tryed the Ultimate Category Excluder plugin too, but won’t worked as intented and break my site (even after deactivate and delete the plugin the site was still broken at the point I’ve need to use a backup to restore my files and database).

So, I need help in order to hide the categories list from my front page posts. I will stil use the widget to let the user filter posts by categories, but I just don’t want to show all the categories attached to every post when I write something.
I appreciante any help in this regard, thanks in advance!

Hello, even after removing the resized images that WordPress creates, and I include a plugin to eliminate them or by entering codes in the functions.php to eliminate them, with the Hueman theme it continues to create 6 or 7 resized images for me. Headline and featured image space

Hi. I hope someone can help me change two things with the Hueman theme.

I’d like the headline to sit directly above the text in posts, not above the featured image.

And the space between the featured image and the text is too close – would like to add some space between them.

Order of items on a post should be Featured image, Publication date, Headline, Body text.

Hello. I downloaded Hueman theme. Did live view but get a grey screen where my posts and pages should be. Took about 40 seconds to present this screen (longer than normal).

Removed the theme and reinstalled.

Am using it on another domain on the same shared hosting plan without issue. Any known plugin conflicts?

I have been through and switched off non-critical plugins to test with no improvement.

Better control of symbol for links in new tab or window

The Hueman theme displays a symbol/icon after a text link that will open in a new tab or window. This is good. The problem is, even if a link is manually configured to open in a new tab/window, if the link includes my domain, the symbol doesn’t appear. I don’t tend to use new tabs/windows for internal links, but the theme omits the symbol when I link to another site accessed via a subdomain, e.g. photos.albj.net – and even more to point, the Bluesky social media platform can be configured such that my domain is my username, so my bsky link of https://bsky.app/profile/albj.net also does not display the new tab/window symbol. (I currently have temp worked around this by putting my bsky link behind a bitly shortlink. My skill level is probably only just around amateur with doing custom tweaking. Wondered if maybe there’s some custom code I can add into the Additional CSS section or any other simple fix to be able to override and show the symbol on links that have ‘albj.net’ in them.

Any custom posts and taxonomies have a default archive page that’s looks OK, but it’s not mobile adaptive unlike standard archive pages in Hueman. Any ideas how to fix it?

I am looking for a simple way to make the right sidebar narrower in the Hueman theme. I have not found it in the Custimizer or the Nimble Page Builder. Does this setting exist in the Hueman Pro Theme or can you tell me how to do it?
