Hey there. I’m currently using a child theme version of your iBuddy theme and really like the overall look and feel of it thus far (after some modification). I have removed the side-bar however I’m now discovering that anytime a user attempts to save a really long post that the word-wrap is no longer working properly. I have a sneaking suspicion that my removing the sidebar has something to do with this issue.
An example of just such a post:
https://navcointalk.xyz/forums/topic/physical-goods/#post-169
From what I’m seeing in FireBug it looks like the name of the div class for these posts is ‘bbp-reply-content’ however I haven’t been able to figure out what changes I need to make to resolve this issue.
Any help the community can offer would be very much appreciated.

When I click on my profile Settings->Profile Visibility nothing loads below the menu bar in the content area where I suspect the various options should be.
I have checked the various PHP files to ensure they contain the latest path and terminology changes made in the last year or so; everything looks fine.
There is not a Profile.PHP file in …BuddyPress/Members/Single/Settings
I went ahead and tried downloading the latest version of that file from the default BP theme but it didn’t change the behavior.
Any idea why Profile Visibility is not displaying any options?
Thank you.

Hi! If I check the “Lock-down Home Page” option, I get this error when I try to access the home page of my WP if I’m logged in:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/25/d413376352/htdocs/apadrinaenlavega.org/intranet/wp-content/themes/ibuddy/bp-home-template.php:13) in /homepages/25/d413376352/htdocs/apadrinaenlavega.org/intranet/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 896
I’ve been reading about it and I guess there’s some file with unclosed php tags, but I can’t find it…
Any clue?
Thanks!

Hi,
I’m getting a problem with headings. h2 and other hn elements won’t get the proprer font-size when using other skins than the default one (blue).
E.g using the default skin, h2 and others are (logically) rendered bigger than paragraph text.
But whenever if I switch to another skin, h2 are rendered the same font-size as paragraph text. Too bad for a heading.
Problem occured on different desktop & mobile browser, and is still present with every wordpress plugin disabled.
It does disappear when commenting the “font-size: 100%” on line 14 of the non-default skin css sheets (e.g “green.css” or “orange.css”).
Still, it probably needs to be fix.
I’m using ibuddy 1.0.2
Many thanks for the theme.
It’s great, it’s fast and I love it.
I am having a tough time making a child theme with all the styling intact. I get a child theme but it is has no style effects. I have just a white page with black writing on it. No header etc. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks!
]]>HI there,
First off GREAT theme ?? Ok so I am fairly new to Buddypress and CSS coding. I want to make the user menu in tabs, like the default theme. Also, I have BuddyMenu installed and instead of showing the avatar and a link with a log out button, the whole menu is shown. Is this a jquery problem? How do I fix it to display as a link etc?
Thanks!
]]>Where do you install iBuddy?…. into WordPress themes or into BP-themes? (ie. plugins/buddypress/bp-themes)
???
Seems like some buddypress themes are just plugins to lay on top of the default buddypress theme (eg. Frisco), while some might be complete WordPress themes.
Confusing.
thx
]]>Could some one tell me how buddypress compatible themes work?
How to set up a website after installing buddypress plugin to a compatible theme like “ibuddy”
I want to create a blog where-
1)the home page shows an itro about my blog, a login and register links/buttons.
2) Anyone can post without login or register anf if wants, then can create one’s account and set it as needed.
3) The blog would contain blogs on various topics.
4) all major permissions should be with the amin, if needed can delete any spam post or anyones account and send a mail to them.
is it practical?? if not please suggest better ideas, i just want a site where anyone can post with or without login. The post could be images, videos or anything??
Plugins mentioned “Here”
donot work except the Gravity forms and its very costly.
Please help as its an urgent project taken to be submitted soon and I am new to buddypress or bbpress. know wordpress quite well.

Hi there
Firstly i would like to say what an amazing theme you have created, the only issue i have is with the mobile device view as everything is all mixed up and unreadable i was wondering if you were going to get this sorted in the near future as i have had to remove the meta to display it as a normal site on devices for now
My site is https://banter.me
Kind regards
Paul
]]>I’d like to remove the required “address” line, and remove the “name” line, leaving only ‘username’ and ’email’ questions.
I’ve had a look at register.php but can’t see any reference to “address”, I’m not sure which line refers to the “name” so that I can keep “username”.
Thanks
Hi,
could you check the function “ibuddy_content_nav” in the category archives, please? It’s not working on our site (https://rcmarilyn.cz/program/ vs. https://rcmarilyn.cz/program/page/2/), older entries link goes @ /page/2/, but it still shows last ten entries.
Search and author archives works!
Thanks in advance, sir ??

]]>I am having trouble getting the featured image to appear properly. They are the right width but not the right height.
It seems fine when I upload gif images. But, when I upload jpegs the images are too short and cut off the top and the bottom.
Is this a problem with the theme or something else?
I am using Feedwordpress to create the posts and save the featured images.

Firstly we really like your theme .Great job! What version of WordPress and Buddypress can I use with your iBuddy theme .
Many thanks

Hi,
first of all, thanks for a great theme! Great job!
I can’t find and delete blank lines, which are at the HTML source code of your theme.
XML parsing failed: syntax error (Line: 2)
I’ve tried to deactivate all plugins and activate default WP theme “2012”. So I am pretty sure it’s somewhere in the source files of the iBuddy theme.
Empty lines causes broken RSS. Resp. !doctype must be @ the 1. line.
Could you check it, please?
E.g. same problem is @ your demo website: https://adamaz.tk/ibuddy/ + https://adamaz.tk/ibuddy/blog/
Thanks in advance for your help.
