I’m using inkness theme for my website. Now I can’t select the data on webpages in browser (i.e) right click is not working. But Ctrl+shift+i and F12 buttons are working. When admin logged in wordpress then the right click is enabled, in that time we can able to select the data in browser.
Now I want to enable the right click, please help me to resolve this problem. I’m new to coding.

so I looked in the function file of your theme, and there is no longer this function this function that was on the previous version. What happens to my site?

Hiya. I have been using the inkness theme for a couple of years and really love it. My whole site it static but I recently decided to add a blog element to it (Ramblings in the menu). Unfortunately I can’t seem to edit the posts page itself to reflect the static pages (they all have a header image). Is there an easy solution to this issue? Am I missing something? Will I have to edit the code? Where exactly do I do that only for the posts page and the posts themselves.

If I’m unable to change this particular aspect I’m going to have to change my theme (otherwise it looks totally inconsistent) and I’d seriously hate to do that.

I would like to know if is it possible to change the number of footer widget columns ? The default is set to four columns, but I’d like to replace that with six.
I mean :
2 widgets in footer left.
2 widgets in footer center.
2 widgets in footer right.

This is whether the link is pasted into a Facebook post or shared from the page icon, or from the browser menu.

All other themes work fine.

The Facebook sharing debugger has this error:

Invalid URL
Provided og:image URL, was not a valid URL.

for this URL:

Trying to determine how to target the <h4> that is called on the post but stripped from the frontpage:

The first line of each of these posts is tagged with an <h4>Sponsored by: … </h4> within the actual post. I need the bold to carry over to the front page.

The Layer two menus (sub menus do not work on a mobile, therefore not responsive. Please can you fix this.

Having switched on the slider.

The images are huge on my screen and do no display the content below.

I cant find a setting in your theme that would standardise the slider verticle height or the ability to crop the images to have a standard narrow slider that allows the user of the site to know there is content below.

Some images have auto sized and look blurred to.

Hello.

I tried to generate a new language file from “inkness.pot” and noticed that the text in the search box was not translated.
I figured out that the text, “Search for anything on this site…”, is retrieved with context, “placeholder”, and that’s why the text was not translated.
(searchform.php#12)

So I added msgctxt "placeholder" on msgid "Search for anything on this site..." in “inkness.pot” and regenerated a language file from it, then the text is translated.
I thought that you could update this theme to retrieve the text without context or put msgctxt "placeholder".

Anyway this theme is so great, I appreciate!

the slider on the front page suddenly stopped to show. No idea why, all the settings are the same as before. I tried to install (and then deinstal as nonfunctional) some photo galleries and stupid modules like SEO, WP smush and so on … maybe this was the reason (even though it doesn’t make sense for me). The question is – how to put back the slider.

how do I adjust the size of the main_logo? I could not find any entries in the css-files. I need to put it to 100% of the sites width, at the moment it is somehow ‘cropped’ to 540px.

Inkness theme is to the left of the screen, and not centred.

The border or box thing is to the left, and I need to be centred.

What can I do to center it, is there something I am missing in my settings?

I am able to set a background image, but not a Header image as is displayed in the Demo.

Also, the Widgets will only publish in a column and not horizontally, as was also displayed in the Demo.

Lastly, the social media buttons do not display. Where/how do I display them?

i know: this question has already been asked, but never answered, so I try my luck….

I am using Inkness 1.0.3.1 theme for https://www.squashclub-saarlouis.de/wordpress/. (And I really like it, it’s very professional and comfortable.)

I have two drop downs with submenus. They work when the screen is big, but for the small screen size, when the main menu turns into toggle and becomes a drop down by itself, submenus don’t work.

Has anyone an idea to solve this problem?

It’s OK to add logo and Slider images at the first time.
But it’s not working when you try to change the image.

Process to reproduce the error:
1. remove image by clicking the remove button
2. click upload the javascript error thraw:
ReferenceError: event is not defined
optionsframework_add_file(event, $(this).parents(‘.section’));

I’ve got a problem using Inkness theme.
I don’t know how to change a colour of font. Originally it’s gray on white background, and it’s very unreadable.
How to change it to black for example? I can’t find it by in admin’s panel on WordPress. Also, I don’t see it in style.css.

So, anyone knows the solution? I don’t believe, that people use this gray font.

The sub menus don’t show on a phone. On a tablet they show but so not work. And on my phones, tablet, and computer in all browsers the photos on my pages open as a background image when you click on them and you can’t see them behind the content because there is a white box. Not stellar for a photo site. I expect at least general functionality in a free version to make me even want to buy the pro version. This is just awful

Hi. I deleted the submenu pages (events was the parent) but they are still showing up when you hover on the events link.

I’ve googled etc and can’t seem to find where I’m going wrong.

The plugins I’m using are:
1. Contact Form 7
2. Google Analytics by Yoast
3. MailChimp Forms by MailMunch
4. No Page Comment
5. WordPress SEO
6. WordPress Google Maps

I’m not quite sure how to describe my problem, so sorry if this seems confusing.

Basically, no matter what size I make an image in a post, anything larger than 640 x 427 will get down-sized to this dimension. I finally found in the HTML this:

As you can see, somewhere in the theme it’s overriding my changes with the “resize=640%2C427”. I have searched high and low and cannot figure out how to get rid of this resizing.

My end goal is to have images display full width inside each post. The img class “fullwidth” is something I created to accomplish this. However, Inkness is simply pulling the resized 640 x 427 and stretching it to fit the larger dimension making the image blurry. Hopefully this makes sense by looking at a blog post here:

I’m just starting with Inkness and I need to use vertical featured images in my posts. I was wondering if there’s any way to change their size when displaying posts in grid layout, because I find them too big.
And, if that’s possible, is there any way to change that grid and use 4 columns instead of 3?

On my page, https://www.therenaissancewriter.com, I cannot understand why the theme has one row of three columns, then a second row with only one entry, and it’s already forcing a second page of blog entries. Where do I have control over the number of posts on a page? And by the way, SO HARD to insert images and lay them out. Any tips on that, too? Thanks for any help you can give. ??
