It is a beautiful theme, but it does not honor the static home page setting and the author(s) will not respond to the support forum here or to the contact form on their web site. Can’t imagine the pro version is worth $50 with support like this…

I contacted the author twice over a 3 month period. He said he would fix a problem with the main page in the free version soon. The fix is simple and I was told it’s fixed in the upgrade. No matter below is all you need to do to fix it. I’d hate to think the author is just not fixing this to get people to pay for an upgrade.
Not the fix will work for the kage-green theme as well.

change the following lines to reflect 3 not 4 in the code.
$options[] = array(
'name' => __('Box 3 Image', 'kage'),
'desc' => __('Recommended image sizes 303 X 344', 'kage'),
'id' => 'box_3_image',
'type' => 'upload');
$options[] = array(
'name' => __('Box 3 Text', 'kage'),
'desc' => __('', 'kage'),
'id' => 'box_3_text',
'type' => 'text');

'id' => 'box_3_link',
'type' => 'text');

I think it could be a very good theme because it has a very interesting desing but if you use some characters in the home page titles like interrogations and exclamations, the images hide a part of this.
It only needs a review
Good work

Great theme, lot’s of attention to detail, along with an equally great backend (options framework and such). The theme is minimal, fast, yet ver elegant at the same time.
