Theme works just like it says. Just add the plugins you want.
The theme gives you what it supposed too and then you can add extras because WP is perfectly modular.

Kichu is one of my best finds of 2015. A good single-column theme with focus on presenting the contents of your blog to the visitors without any distractions. My subscribers liked it. It is responsive, supports all post formats and the colours can be customized to your liking.

My feature request is (if possible) to make the widget area available in the footer so that we can accommodate some important links and widgets provided by some plugins.
