Hello WordPressors, I must admit I’m in way over my head lol. I was trying to update our 8yr old website since our rates have changed. I was advised to update WordPress / plugins by the old web developer. well, that went fine but I was also prompted with the update theme indicator. After the update, the website broke with critical errors. I spoke to some tech people and they couldn’t find a solution since we did not have backup files. Moving forward with a new theme I felt like enough things survived the update to try to make the site work. Enough background info here is my question. There is a circle on the front page that is spinning. I think used to be a picture slide show and I have no idea how to remove it. I was able to add a new slideshow with a new up to date plugin and it’s just below the spining circle. I tried to build a new page and make it the new home page but it still injects that swirling circle. If anyone could point me in the right direction it was be appreciated! thanks

In the “site origin editor” widget on a page under “attributes” … I enter the CSS below …

I’ve also tried adding it to the overall theme via “Simple Custom CSS” – same result.

}

The only thing that works is that the colour changes to black .. not just for the li elements though for everything.

Nothing else in the css above works.

Any ideas?

I’ve looked in the following places:
1. Slider is turned off
2. home page
3. Appearance -> customise
4. Appearance -> theme options
5. Appearance -> widgets

I’ve even looked through the media library and can’t find that image.

Help! Where else can it be coming from ?

In the Klasik theme, is there a way to reduce the space between the “Home” page bar and the body of the page? I’m obviously new to WordPress CSS editing. I’m guessing it would be edited in the Style.php and modifying one of the “Padding” code lines, but I tried to make some changes and nothing would adjust the space between the header of the page and the body.

I have a problem with displaying custom categories in their appropriate post pages.

the problem seem to to be when trying call an archive of categories from custom post types. it works fine on default theme so I know its a theme issue.

which file should i be looking at changing to try add or change the post types that are processed in the theme?

I have two Klasik Theme Team Widgets one after the other each showing three different team members …

Unfortunately, about half the time, the first team widget shows the image only and no text below it. The second widget shows both the image and text always.

I’ve tried adding padding, inserting a text widget between them but nothing has resolved it yel.

Any ideas?

I would really like to shrink the header margins to fit tightly with my logo, and reduce the white space beneath the logo and the overall height size of the header. Ideally I would also like to reduce the white space on the left and right side of the logo as well.

Can anyone help me with this? Do I need custom CSS?

I have a problem to make the image product disappear. I don’t want to use CSS for that because I want to do that only on a few pages.

I have written in my functions.php this line :

remove_action( ‘woocommerce_before_single_product_summary’, ‘woocommerce_show_product_images’, 20 );

But it seems it doesn’t walk. Could it be a problem with the theme ?

I am trying to work out how to display the sidebar only on one page and posts. I have looked everywhere in customizing to change this but nothing works. When i remove everything from the Post side bar it still shows but with nothing in it. Can someone point me in the right direction. I only want it to display on the blog and posts pages. I have a problem with Products Tabs on Klasik Theme. The problem is how it’s display. I added a Custom Tabs Products to my theme (already tried the plugin, is not the plugin) and now I have a few others tabs. I want to replace the box with the new tab content. Right now, they display the next tab down, and i want to replace. I tried on wordpress theme Twenty Fourteen and working how I want that’s why it’s not the plugin. Also, tried too the debug, and didn’t resolve. So, i think it’s something on layout theme, and i want to know how to change it.

Seach widget was working fine in all browsers. But someday i tried it in Firefox (version 39 – Linux Mint) and Opera (version 12.16 – Linux Mint) and noticed that it is not functional.

I think that in WordPress version 4.2.2, search widget was working fine.

The website gets all messed up when I use a child theme. I have made child themes before and I have never had this problem.
Changes I make do not come on the website, and when I switch back to the klasik theme it does show.
In the child theme de slider does not show, and it does in the klasik theme.

Could you please tell me how to get this right?

When I enter the media numbers in the widget it works if I only use one media number e.g. 6

As soon as I add more than one media number no images are shown. ( e.g. 6,7,8,9 or 6; 7; 8; 9 or 6 7 8 9 )

How do I correctly add multiple images to the carousel?

I’m creating a child theme using this as the parent. I’m trying to override files that are buried down a few levels from the root, i.e. /includes/widgets/klasik-latestnews-widget.php.

But when I create the same directory path and file in my child theme, the child theme file is ignored. Why? How do I make this work?

I’m using child theme with this theme. However, on the login page, it shows the background similar to the child theme. When I view the source, there are unnecessary stylesheet and script in the wp-login.php template.

Anyone know how to remove this from the admin section?
