This is the blog page which I have called “The Story”. It contains the Hello World post that I have called the journey in. I am using a theme called “Klopp”. I am learning to do most things one at a time but I cannot put an image in the placeholder next to what was “Hello World”
Help would be great.

I have a white bar appearing over the titles of my Featured Items on the Home Page and also across my Blog Page Title on the blog page when viewing the site on a mobile device in portrait mode. The white bar goes away when viewing in horizontal mode.
Can you please tell me how to get rid of this white bar being overlayed on the titles?

Okay, have discovered links to posts from the home page work when iPad mini is in landscape, just not portrait. Portrait works on every other device including iPhone and iPod.
Any insights, anyone? The sidebar also goes wonky in portrait, but I can live with that.
Links to posts from home page are not working on my iPad mini (model ME279LL/A).
Tried updating iPad to ios 10.1.1 but still not working, either in Safari or Chrome.
Links do work on older iPod (ios 8.3) and on no-frills Android phone.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Blog is still in progress with anticipated launch next week and so would prefer not to post URL if possible; hoping to solve this without doing so. TIA.
Hi
I have disabled the sidebar on klopp theme and now I want the content area to be centered. Is there a easy to do this or do I have to make another page template. Thanks.

How do I remove the search bar from theme?
The Read more link does not work in portrait mode on my iPad Air or Samsung S2 (both approximately 10 inch tablets). I’ve inspected the code, and the sidebar is running up into the main content – only in this situation – making the link unusable. It happens in Safari and Chrome. Runs great on everything else.
I’m using the blog display style which has a main column and a left sidebar.
Hi there
I have a new website up thebarkinbarber.com.au thanks to a very helpful member here (thanks @crouchingbruin)! I have one more question, how do i get the logo to show in the top left in the nav bar? that then goes to top of page on mobile devices..
or even in the section below the hero image / above the showcase?
just would like to have the logo present somewhere but using the ‘add logo’ feature in the customise area looks crappy / goes over the header image and doesnt line up right.
Any help much appreciated!
The slider appears as a box in the center of the main content container, and I would like it to stretch off the screen… AND I’d like it to be up where the header images are located. So the page would layout like…
MENU / NAV BAR
SLIDER (full width)
SOCIAL ICONS & SEARCH BAR
FEATURED STORIES
PAGE CONTENT
FOOTER
I am still working on where I am going to place the logo as well. Is it possible to do these changes with the native theme slider, or do I need to get a different slider and code it into the page manually?
Thanks!
Blake
I just installed Klopp on one of my sites, https://www.gracefuldolls.com seems to be just what I have been looking for. However, on the pages, around my comment box and the page title is a greenish color, and I can’t seem to find where I can change that to match the other colors on the page, or at least find what the color is to incorporate it into my design.
Can someone point me to where I can update this or where is is in the theme code?

Hi

I am trying to use a static front page withn custom showcase enabled – at the moment the homepage content shows below the showcase, how do I disable this?

Hi there,
I have problem with,
1. unable to translate after uploading .mo and .po file in the languages folder
2. garbled up characters on top page
So, for the first problem – I started using Klopp on my website and my target audiences are mainly Japanese. I’ve translated the language file by using Poedit. Uploaded .mo and .po file in the “languages” folder. Though, since it didn’t look like it’s displaying in Japanese, I thought I’ll edit the “wp-config.php” file. But it doesn’t seem to be able to find “define(‘wplang)’ part in the config file. It may be just for older version of WP you’ll need to change the config file, anyways. So now, I’m out of cards what I can do about it. Has anyone tried to translate? Any success?
For the second problem, I have this top page with grid layout – means, I have some newest posts displaying on the landing page with “…read more” link. For whatever the reason, introductory texts area are displaying the Japanese fine, but right in front of the “…read more” area, a couple of characters are garbled up and showing question mark in a diagnosed squares and I’m not sure where I can switch the encoding to UTF-8?
Does anyone have any idea to suggest? BTW, I like the theme. Clean and simple yet stylish and serve the purpose. Thanks!

Also, how can I get the featured posts below the showcase to only display 3 photos or one row because I did select 1 row but there is 5 photos 2 rows showing up.

Hello.. I am useing the Klopp theme for my site.. wich is https://www.gigabytedesigns.com but I see a white line on my header image.. does anybody have an idea where can I change the code so this line dosent show.. ?? thanks…
Hi,
I’ve just started using wordpress and am finding that blog pictures aren’t loading in the Klopp theme. I’ve so far tried the following: uninstalling and reinstalling the theme (no effect), changing theme (fixes the issue), removing all plugins (no effect), clearing cache (no effect).
I’ve looked at the sample Klopp site and the blog pictures do load so it can’t be a general issue with the theme. I wondered if maybe there is an option somewhere to get pictures to automatically load? What currently happens is there is a grey box containing the text “VIEW” which loads the picture when you click on it.
Here’s my website: https://www.batterseablooms.co.uk
Many thanks in advance,
Tom
I was just helping sombody troubleshoot an issue on the website yatrayoga.no using the Klopp theme. They created a child .css file the right way, but it is being called in the header before the parent .css file and therefore the overrides of parent-theme ids and classes are not being rendered.
