Hi there,

Up until a day ago featured images from posts were showing up on my HOMEPAGE post previews – or at least on the standard WP post that appears with every WP site (The one called “My First WordPress Post’ or whatever). However, when I published my own posts the featured image(s) don’t show up on the HOMEPAGE post previews.

I’ve tried disabling all plugins, but it doesn’t resolve the issue. Following advice elsewhere I’ve tried posting this in the Stylesheet CSS – but it didn’t make any difference either.

background-attachment: inherit !important;
}

A website without featured images is useless to my client of course. Please help!

First, I really like this clean and simple blog theme. I would like to use it, but I do not like how narrow the main column or left column of the theme is. Can you help me find where or what to edit to make that width wider?

Hi – I’m a WP newbie and am making my first site. So far I think I’ve worked it all out -using the free LEVII theme but there is one thing I can’t seem to figure out. Each post seems to be a fixed length which is quite short (like just one line of text followed by “READ MORE ….”). (see https://www.friday-fun.com/wordpress)

I’d like for posts to be longer – either fixed length but long enough for a video to be visible without having to press READ MORE. I don’t know css but poking around in the options it looks like I may have to add a bit of code to do that but really starting to get out of my depth.

Any pointers would be very welcome.

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to set up the default picture in each post showing up on the main page? It looks like a slideshow, taking pics from the gallery, but I would like to choose which picture should be the first one to display. How can I do this?

I need help for two things:

– When I visit my website using my iPhone 5, after the pages loads, it does a kind of zoom. How can I fix this issue?

– Still on my iPhone 5, when I visit the website, the background image is in “Scroll” mode while it is in “Fixed” mode on desktop view (as I choose on the theme settings in “Customize”). How can make the background image fixed on smartphones as well?
