Hi, I’m having trouble setting up the LogBook theme on my website.

On the blogs home page the excerpt of the blog only displays filler text (High life brunch salvia, Godard readymade scenester flexitarian. Neutra vice ethical bespoke.) before the continue reading link.

I’ve been going around in circles trying to address this but can’t locate anything in the general WordPress Dashboard or within the LogBook theme settings to fix this. No support articles seem to apply to fixing this within the LogBook theme.

Is this a glitch in the theme or am I missing something? (Sorry for casting any aspersions – I’m actually not all that recently experienced in working with WordPress.)
